Dang I love Survivor. Best show on TV. Have seen every episode. |
Who was voted off last night? I missed the last 15 mins. because of a phone call. :( |
I think this entire season has been BORING! Wow, another dull, ho hum week. If it weren't for Redemption Island I wouldn't even tune in. No one is playing that game except for Rob. Although Phillip with his arguement that he has been faking this personality the whole time is interesting. which leads me to, "do you really think Rob is smart enough to think Phillip is faking?" NO I don't think so. Cunning and a liar, yes. I think the producers "leak" info as they are interviewing the cast during the game. |
[quote=alaskayorkie;3525669]LOL, you'd have to post a picture of your fannie for that! :p{QUOTE] :rolleyes:Think twice about that one my friend. We don't want this thread to go down in flames! Ugh what a horrid mental picture you have placed in my head. Thanks a lot!:bleh: Quote:

Well here we go, I apologize to you Boston Rob fans as I'm sure you are not going to like my post. : ) I am so over Rob and his Huge EGO. Get over yourself. Just because Amber won Survivor and you didn't doesn't make you less of a man. This crying and need to win Survivor makes you less of a man! Boo Hoo! BABY! And not for nothing, but What exactly did Amber have to "give up" for Rob to play Survivor, AGAIN.? 30-39 days without his whining??? LOL Sorry. He just got under my skin last night. Oh, And I hope Mike comes back and beats his a$$! |

 How dare you! LOL Just for the sake of an argument: Have you ever wanted to accomplish something and tried for 10 years to do so? This is more than the million for Rob. He just wants to win and succeed. I don't think he will be able to come back again so this really is his last chance to win the biggest challenge of his life. This is his superbowl. As far as tearing up, after so many days in the heat (to say nothing of putting up with Phil) I think the situation would get to anyone and make them emotional. Look what is is doing to the girls. SPOILER: I was sorry he had to betray a friend but at this stage of the game it has to be every man for himself. I was relieved when the person voted off said he/she didn't know which one (between Rob and Phil) flipped on him. |
I don't think Rob is a terrible person at all. He went on there to win and he played a GREAT game. He is no more nasty than most of the others. As for Phillip, am I the only person who likes him? I think he is a character who said some wrong things for which he apologized. I find him to be interesting in an odd way. |
Well, I can't believe that Natalie was actually naive enough to think she would get even one vote, much less win. She did absolutely nothing to merit a second thought. As for Phil, during the final council he didn't do anything except sell Rob, very strange. I think most people forgot that the guys that do background checks and other slog paperwork for the government also sometimes have the title of 'Federal Agent' or 'Specialist'. We automatically assume secret agent or something of that nature when in reality he was probably not lying but was a titled paper pusher. As for Rob, like him or not, he did play a near perfect game. There is no denying it. Hopefully, now that he has won, he will never play again and we can move on to new players and winners. I really hate to see that in addition to winning sole survivor he won fan favorite or whatever it is called. I was really rooting for Matt to get that. I believe he earned that for all the time he spent on Redemption Island and if Rob were a man of character he would gift it to him, since he won the million. I am curious as to what happened in episode 3 or 4 that made Grant turn off on Rob. My memory doesn't stretch that far back. Oh well, another season...over... |

Rob did deserve to win, like him or not. Wonder if Grant will ever speak to him again? |
Yesterday was the perfect Survivor night! I loved it. I've been a BAWSTOONNN (lol) Rob fav since day one. This victory was well deserved. He played a great game....I hate when people start attacking the character of their fellow competitors. Backstabbing and manipulation is how you win these shows. As long as they leave that crap on the show and are decent people in real life, that is all that matters! Go Rob!!!!! Philip....I can't even put it in to words. He is definitely a character, but he kept the show very interesting! |
I think the entire season was set-up from the beginning so that Rob could win. I think the producers found the dumbest group in all the land. They made Rob look smart. Yikes. Not an easy task. I agree that not letting the tribe members speak to each other was smart (after 4 tries at Survivor) but what is wrong with the people? Would you have listened to Rob...a known Survivor villain? Just plain stupid. And I think that Jeff Probst confirmed my theory that the show was rigged for Rob to win when at the final immunity challenge he said to Rob " You finally did it, you won and it only took you, blah, blah, blah..." Obviously not an immunity challenge as we know Rob won 4. Also, did you happen to notice the entire season of no water challenges and all puzzle challenges??? The info I noticed is stacked against the producers staging the entire season for Rob to win. In addition, when someone from the jury asks Natalie if there was ever a point that she thought about voting Rob out, her only reply was the end. When she knew he had the immunity idol. I just don't understand how stupid people can be. I also wanted to vomit when Jeff said it was a "near perfect game". BS!!!!!! Rigged! each and every week I tuned in hoping that something unpredictable would happen. Never did. What a shame. Please understand this is my opinion so don't be offended. I'm happy for the Rob fans. |

This was a great season, I really thought Rob didn't an excellent job, I've been watching Survivor from the beginning, and it's really hard for the early leaders to win. Rob had a target on his back, and he understood what it took to remove that target. He made people feel like they could really trust him, and that's important. I hated to see Grant take it so hard, but Rob really had little choice, his priority was to win this time. He already lost the game once to save Amber, and at that time, I doubt if he thought she'd end up his wife, but his relationship with her was more important. This time he couldn't make that mistake again. I really never understood why Rob was considered a villain on one of the seasons, they had him on the same team as Jonny Fairplay! Sounds like Russell will play again, but he's got to change up his game if he ever wants to win. His temper controls him too much, and he wants to vote people off, just because they've made him mad, and that's not good strategy, sometimes you want to keep around the annoying people, just as long as they’re not really a threat. |

It was my understanding that he did try to change his game and the tribe he was with was not buying it. I read those people's bios and interviews before the first show and almost all of them said they hated Russell. No matter WHAT he had done, those people would have voted him out. I have tried to find those interviews recently where they were asked about former Survivors and who they liked and disliked...I cannot find it. But...I can tell you they were asked the question directly before they knew he was going to be on the show and they said they hated him. We only see what we are shown...there are many hours on the island that we are not aware of. |
