| Someone keyed my car!! I take my son to the orthodontist this morning at 11:30. I am not in the place more than a half an hour. I parked my car on the street in a neighborhood. I come out and my whole driver side is keyed. I have a brand new 2011 car, haven't had it for more than 5 or 6 months. The car that was parked in front of me and the 3 behind me were all keyed but mine was the worst. I am so upset and angry. Looks like whoever was walking by the cars just put their key out and scraped all the way from the front bumper to the back bumper. WHY????? I don't even have one ding on it. I hope this is not an indicaton of how my week will go. Last night for superbowl my 21yr old had some friends over for the game and just about when the last person left the freaking toilet won't go down. My husband says that we just need to go easy with the showers for a few days 'til it settles down. Then this same 21 yr old (who had braces on when he was little) Got bottom braces on his teeth. Another costly event. Now this car thing. I am turning 50 on Saturday and I am not a happy camper. Looks like my week is starting out to be terrible This is why I hate people!!!

| Ahhh man.....that sucks! People are just idiots. Someone obviously thought that this would make him feel better about his miserable pathetic life! Think of it this way....all the bad for this week is out of the way, and it is nothing but smooth sailing from here out. ....and btw... |

| Happy Birthday, try to make it a great one! So sorry this lousy thing happened to your new car...really stinks. I'm an auto claim adjuster and see this day in and day out, but it doesn't make it one bit easier.

| I called my agent and I have a $500 deductable!!! My husband says we will go to a body shop and get an estimate. It is dug down to the metal so my husband says it will rust if we don't get it fixed.

| GGGRRRRR That's sooooo aggravating!!! Take it back to the dealership and see if they can help you... if not, get some touch up paint, paint and rub off with paper towels (soft ones) repeatedly until you can't see the scratch anymore (took me about 25 coats). That is what I did and you wouldn't even notice it unless you were looking for it and very closely. Still, it's sooo aggravating! It blows my mind that there are grown people out there who think they have the right to do that to other people's property. I'm so sorry that happened to you!! I got my car last Jan and in March I went to a casino in CT. Thousands of cars in the parking lot and MY car gets keyed on the drivers side alllllll the way down the side. My car was not brand new but it was to me! It's a 2007 fully loaded V6 Accord, nicest car Ive ever had! I hate people too!!!

| Sorry that happened to you. What idiots to do that. Happened to me beofre, and I guess it is good I did not see the person doing it or I most likely would have killed them. If the scratch is down to the metal, you will need a total repaint of that side, and your insurance will pay for it minus the deductable, if you have one. Otherwise, it it is only in the clear coat and not the base coat, a good body shop can wet sand and buff the scratch, and mayne all of it can be removed. For the entire lenth of the cart, do not waste time with touch up paint. You can tell, and it may make it look worse. Check with a body shop, file a police report, and if you have to notify your insurance co. it is not a chargable accident and will not effect your Ins rate. Hope your week gets better, and have a wonderful day. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | That's awful !! This happened to me a little over a year ago...and the scratch is about 5ft long. I don't why people do intentionally mean things, I've never understood it. UGH.

| I totally understand how you feel right now. Someone got my daughter's car at the university last Friday. She was so upset, as are her parents.

| Some people in some neighborhoods are just irresponsible and heartless. Someone just backed into my car on Friday. I had just gotten it fixed, out of pocket, from someone that slammed into it months before. Then today, someone speeding down a small street almost hit me. I was trying to get in my car to go home and someone far far away (I swear, I thought I had enough time to hop in under normal speeds) was no more than 2 inches from me when I tried to slide in. I didn't open the door all the way, just enough for me to fit between the door and the car. People seriously suck sometimes.

| Sorry this happened to you. I had a red sports car years ago and someone keyed it down from the headlight to the gas cover. Then someone in the parking log let a cart run right into! Aggghhh! So I can feel your frustration. Aside that, hope you have a happy 50th b-day!

| Did you check to see if there were cameras posted?? If so, maybe they recorded a picture of the crazy person who keyed your car. I didn't read all of your posts, but I hope you got a police report.
