Sorry that happened to you. What idiots to do that. Happened to me beofre, and I guess it is good I did not see the person doing it or I most likely would have killed them.

If the scratch is down to the metal, you will need a total repaint of that side, and your insurance will pay for it minus the deductable, if you have one. Otherwise, it it is only in the clear coat and not the base coat, a good body shop can wet sand and buff the scratch, and mayne all of it can be removed. For the entire lenth of the cart, do not waste time with touch up paint. You can tell, and it may make it look worse. Check with a body shop, file a police report, and if you have to notify your insurance co. it is not a chargable accident and will not effect your Ins rate.
