I am in shock. All three of those in the bottom three did not deserve to be there but then I guess they can't all win. I love Pia's voice but I did not like her song choice last night and I think that is what hurt her.

wow, what a shock. Pia was one of my favorites. i'm so disapointed as i know alot are that she is gone. i havent voted yet this year. does it cost to vote?
Didnt Iggy Pop look awful with no shirt , omg! i think Jennifer was disgusted with him when he was singing to her. someone should tell him how bad he looks.

Constantine runined one of my top all time favorite songs . I didn't really like that arrangement. Maybe it's just me.

I really think Jennifer wanted to get up and walk away. LOL
I'm going miss hearing Pia, but at least she will go on tour.

ITA. I've never been much of a fan of Jennifer Lopez (not hated her just ambivalent) but her facial expressions throughout American Idol made me absolutely love her today. Not only when Iggy was dancing on her, but she looked absolutely crestfallen when she saw the people that were on the bottom three and was in tears when Pia was voted off. A lot of the contestants were teary-eyed too, anyone else notice that? I found it weird?

She showed last night that she can not sing anything other than ballads. That does not make an American Idol. It makes a diva. As I said before she has a beautiful voice and she is a New York girl!! But something about her just rubbed me the wrong way. All of these kids have stage fright Come on they are babies in the field. Even the photo shoots she was in...I see diva!!

I'm not disappointed or shocked as AI always has something like this happen...I thought she has an amazing voice and so techincal vocally but no heart and soul and passion just too concerned on the techincality. If she showed passion and put her heart into it she would have lasted longer. At least my favorite is still in running Lauren and James!

i'm sad to see Pia go, she was beautiful, however so was not original enough for my personal music taste. my fav is Hailey because she is just so unique. i also like James because it's amazing to see someone overcome autism to be a star.

At least it wasn't me spilling the beans... I thought it would be too. I am in total shock. I just think ppl didn't vote for her cause they assumed everyone else was voting for her since she was such a shue in. I don't think she did bad at all. No sweat tho I'm sure her and her big ol' voice is gettin a record deal and with out the AI contract constraints, shes too pretty and talented not to..and I'm sure lots of ppl are up in arms about this decision. I thought for sure she would have been top 3. I bet she was so devastated, I didn't get to see it because I left when iggy pop came on..I litterally turned off the TV got up and left the house, that's how painful that was to watch hahah

Pia was by far not my favorite, but there were others who I thought should have been gone first. I do think she is a beautiful person with a beautiful voice and I felt bad for her. I think there is as much shock over the Iggy Pop performance as Pia leaving. What was that? LOL.

Pia's voice was one of my favorites....However, she did lack the ability to perform a song.....A Tina Turner song should have been delivered with a wow factor....walking around the stage carrying a mike doesn't cut it.
However, I think maybe in time she can learn to become a performer.....There was only one contestant that had the Performer Quality from the get go and that was Adam Lambert....

I to this day don't understand why they used the save on Casey.....not that spectacular of a singer.....I truely wish Jacob would have been the one to leave....something about him I just don't care for...

agree with everything! While Pia has an amazing voice she never put a wow factor there like Adam could or even Daughtery! I long for those types of performers!
