Paul has gotten on my nerves big time!! The only performance I liked of his when he did sing a Rod Stewart song but after that he's gone down hill for me.

My favs are Lauren, James, Haley (if she can figure out what genre she is) Pia and Scotty ( but his facial expressions just horrify me LOL ).

I don't typically care for country music but Scotty's deep voice always makes me smile. It's very unique, especially for someone his age.

I love Country music and Scotty reminds me of when I first heard Randy Travis and I love Randy Travis! But I'd rather listen to Scotty than watch him, those expressions get on my nerves like Paul's screechy voice LOL

He doesn't bother me as much as Haley. There's just something about her that I cannot stand! If I'm watching AI with friends, they get up and leave when Scotty is singing and make me turn the volume up.

I love both voices on Scotty and Haley as long as I'm not watching them LOL...I would rather leave the room when they both came on and turn up the volume because both voices are amazing just Haley looks akward in moving around and Scotty and his cocky facial expressions hehe but that is just me lol I love Scotty's deep voice

I feel exactly the same way.. poor things.. they are so awkward. Scotty did a little bit better cause he moved around a little more but the way he holds that mic and that smirk..he's too young for that smirk!! lol

For me it's all about Pia, and I hope she loosens up a bit and moves around and doesn't fall on her face.

I wouldn't mind seeing Paul go, then Haley, Jacob & Scotty over the next 3 weeks (they are good but I'm tired of them so they can go make records now), and Casey had better do better than last night or I'll be waving goodbye to him too, Stephano and Lauren have more potential to be revealed. Just my 2 cents, so I'll just keep voting for Pia.

I just wanted to let you guys know. Paul is really having a hard time with his voice. He is from my hometown. It was in our newspaper yesterday that he was diagnosed with nodules on his vocal chords in February. I've noticed that the part of his voice that gets on your nerves has gotten worse each week. I can even hear it in his speaking voice now. The newspaper said that he is on medication but his voice needs rest and he needs surgery. They even said that if he's voted off this week he might be able to have the surgery in time to recover before the tour this summer. It would be something if that happened and then he was really great on the tour, wouldn't it? I'm not disagreeing with you all though - his voice is really struggling. I suspect he'll be gone tonight.

Thanks for that update. I knew something was going on. I could tell he was really struggling to sing. I told my dh last night that it sounded like he was losing his voice. I pray he can get it taken care of and makes a speedy recovery.

This is the first time I've ever watched American Idol. I literally cried when Pia was eliminated. I'm sorry, I know a lot of people have "issues" with the fact that she doesn't prance around stage...but come on...enough to be voted off the show?! She is hands DOWN the best vocalist on the show AND she is beautiful, graceful and you can just TELL that she is not remotely arrogant about her abilities. I'm sorry about the rant but it's just unbelievable to me that other people that are not as talented as her still remain. I am incredibly disappointed.

I think she got voted off because she acts like she already won the whole thing. She thinks she's a diva. She has a beautiful voice but something about her just makes me think she walks around like her "poop" doesn't stink. It is great to be confident but I don't know?? something about her personality irks me.

She openly admitted that she has stage fright...so it's the exact opposite of what you just said.
