Yup that one! They are the best of the girls and actually my favorite is Lauren Alaina...reminds me of Kelly Clarkson with her voice! I hope she makes the right song choices this year...she could actually rock it out this year!

I am LOVING this season! I thought the guys were outstanding, and there were several so good they should be out recording already and I'd be buying their cds.

I was impressed with the girls too, and especially liked Thia (15) and Pia, but some others were really good too.

I really like the judges, and with all the talent up there, this is probably going to be my favorite season ever. The last few seasons I lost interest, but I'm back baby!

who are in the finals....I haven't seen it and won't this weekend and the suspense is gonna kill me! We didn't watch it last night but recorded it and I'm going to a dog show this weekend and won't be able to watch it so I want to know LOL

I thought that they picked the best, too. I think that is why they have such a strong group. In past years too many got through because they were so quirky, or attractive etc. This year it really is about who can sign. Robbie and Brett L. would have made it through in the past shows. They had great personalities but there were better singers.

The only one I don't care for is the first girl they saved. She has a fantastic voice but she is too full of herself. I think they need a lot of confidence. Randy likes that she is such a Diva, but it turns me off.

This is going to be a great season. I can't wait.

The 13 finalists are Casey Abrams, Naima Adedapo, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Ashthon Jones, Stefano Langone, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald, Thia Megia, Haley Reinhart, Karen Rodriguez, and Pia Toscano.

I am NOT a country fan but I have to admit, I think Scotty will take the whole thing. His voice is pure and true.

My vote goes to Casey though. What a cutie!!!!!!! I think he is a lot more talented than we have seen yet. I'm looking forward to his performances.

I could listen to Stefano ALL night long. What a beautiful voice!

I don't especially care for any of the girls except that really young one but I don't remember her name.

You know. when they announce the winners each year, they always say, "in no particular order", meaning number of votes? This year, they didn't say that when they announced Scotty first. Then, they eliminated a few more guys and switched voting to the girls, and picked three girls, I'm wondering if anyone thinks the people chosen first, were picked in the order of how many votes they received? If you listened to the crowd when they announced everyone, Scotty definitely got louder cheers from the audience than the others, and I'm thinking he might be the front-runner?


Anyway, I'm very pleased with the outcome, and I love the fact that there are so many singer/songwriters this year. Adding that additional element of writing your own music, really tells me they are a true artist, and not just a performer, although there is nothing wrong with that!
