Last night proved to me that I need to start voting instead of sitting back and letting other people decide who goes.
My two favorite guys were in the bottom three and I can't believe it.

I thought Casey was going to pass out (I think Ryan thought so too).
Poor Casey thought he was a gonner. And just like the rest of us he probably thought it was too early in the competition for the judges to use the save. But when They announced that he was leaving the camera panned to the judges and all three of them had looks of disbelief. You could read Randy's lips saying "What?" I knew right then and there that they would save my little teddy bear Casey. I loved that they stopped him before he was even a few bars into his song.
Come on Casey and Stefano fans!!!!!! V O T E!

Mike, you and I are going to have to have a talk!:D

My husband and I were in shock as well last night! I think Casey deserved to be saved! My favs are James, Paul, Pia, and Jacob! It's actually hard to choose cause I like them all....but Naima is my least favorite at this point. She has a great voice, but to me, sounds better for a night club or something! When she broke out with that dancing it scared me for a second, it almost looked like she was having a medical emergency or something?! Also someone had said it earlier and they were right IMO. Thia sounds like she would be good for Disney music.

I got a little teary-eyed when I watched. :) I love Casey and I can't believe he was the least voted-for! I'm shocked the judges used the save this early but I'm glad they did it for him.

My favorite is Pia. She's beautiful and an amazing singer. She's also humble about it which makes her even better.

I like Scotty but I wish he would quit smirking, it's getting annoying. I hate people that "know" they're good.

I find myself rooting for Haley but I don't think she'll make it very far. She doesn't put herself out there enough and she's easily overlooked.

Naima and Paul could leave this week and I wouldn't care; they're not my cup-o-tea. Same with Thia.

Everyone else holds their own!

Yeah! It looks like poor Randy has to be the bad guy this year - just to keep it real. Tyler can go as far as I'm concerned but Jennifer is a great replacement the two previous females! She is so sweet even when she is being firm - her criticism is always constructive!

I am really impressed with Jennifer as a judge. She points out many things I would never have thought of; yes very constructive. She definitely has a way of bringing out the best qualities in every contestant and giving them direction.

Remember how many judges in the past would just say stuff like "that just didn't get it for me..... or just too pitchy, or you picked the wrong song" and not give them hope or direction for improvement.

I agree, she really gives a critique, and this can be so valuable. Randy sometimes just says, "I dunno, it just didn't do it for me dawg." This year he's added "pitchy" to his comments.

Funny how this season I think everybody on AI is great, and everybody on Dancing With the Stars is terrible..... but I'll suffer and watch anyway.

I feel exactly the same way! Now I have to vote my fingers numb. Great show again, I don't want anyone to leave this season :(. At least they all get to go on tour. Enjoy all you West Coasters!!

I am rethinking my Casey vote. He was pretty good last night but I think almost everyone else was better. Sigh.
I really don't even want to vote anymore - I would hate for anyone to leave.

I go back and forth. I loved Casey preseason. Disappointed until last night and I thought he did great. He and Pia were our two favorites for the night. I hope Stefano goes home tonight. I'm worried about James because I thought his performance was too planned out and not natural. It's up for grabs as who will go home. I think Haley has a great voice but she comes across as conceited. I think she may be in the bottom. I think Scotty has an amazing voice but I had his smirks when they complement him, like he knows he's great.

Did Naimoi get her teeth fixed? Big improvement.

My favoirites are still James, Casey, Pia, Thia, and Lauren Elana.
i think Naima was my least favorite last night. i do like Reggae music , but i didnt like her Reggae version of I'm still standing.

LOL, that is funny because last night was the first time I actually enjoyed one of Naima's performances!
I usually dislike her and Jacob.

Ahh little Thia, Shes so sweet and does have a good voice but don't you kind of think shes a bit boring? I agree with the Naima and Jacob thing tho he can be a bit dramatic at times and Nima is hit or miss no matter how like-able she can be

Jacob is becoming boring also to me. No doubt he can sing, just a little too much the same week after week. I was disappointed in paul last night also. As Pia has an outstanding voice, I would like to see her do something different or move around a bit more.

Lauren, James, and Casey rocked my socks off last night!!! :D Oh, and after last weeks near catastrophe, I voted for the first time! :)

I agree, though Thia has a great voice....she hasn't really grabbed me in her performances.....Niama....well, she's just a bit quirkie for me.

Jacob has a powerful voice and still hasn't learned how to reign it in.

At this point Pia, James, Lauren & Scotty (who reminds me a bit of George Strait, though not in looks)......

I think it's so sad that there are so many good ones from California because they won't win. Lauren, Paul or Scotty should win based on where they are from. It happens every year....you can be great but if you are not from a "calling state" you won't win.

Tonight the contestants will be singing Elton John songs. I have never listened to a lot of Elton John so I am not sure what to expect.

Dang, I think I am losing it. I was thinking it was on tonight and voting tomorrow night. That means I didn't get to vote. Now that article makes more sense to me. My husband even asked me last night if AI was on and I said no, it is on tomorrow night. Lol, I guess this is what happens when you retire and get old. I just looked at my dvr recordings and it is recorded so at least I will get to watch it.

Good you have dvr; I think I'm the only one who doesn't, so when I forget I have no backup.

I never used to vote cause I thought by the time it was aired in Hawaii voting was probably over. But, last night I voted online for the first time, easy and fun, while the show was still airing here. Hate to see 2 eliminated, but that's the way it goes.
