Yup that one! They are the best of the girls and actually my favorite is Lauren Alaina...reminds me of Kelly Clarkson with her voice! I hope she makes the right song choices this year...she could actually rock it out this year!

I am LOVING this season! I thought the guys were outstanding, and there were several so good they should be out recording already and I'd be buying their cds.

I was impressed with the girls too, and especially liked Thia (15) and Pia, but some others were really good too.

I really like the judges, and with all the talent up there, this is probably going to be my favorite season ever. The last few seasons I lost interest, but I'm back baby!

I'm so with you....the guys are AMAZING!!! I love little Thia too. I can't believe so many are going to be cut tonight.

I would have picked exactly the same people who are in the finals!! I'm very happy with it and I think a boy will win Idol. :)

who are in the finals....I haven't seen it and won't this weekend and the suspense is gonna kill me! We didn't watch it last night but recorded it and I'm going to a dog show this weekend and won't be able to watch it so I want to know LOL

I thought that they picked the best, too. I think that is why they have such a strong group. In past years too many got through because they were so quirky, or attractive etc. This year it really is about who can sign. Robbie and Brett L. would have made it through in the past shows. They had great personalities but there were better singers.

The only one I don't care for is the first girl they saved. She has a fantastic voice but she is too full of herself. I think they need a lot of confidence. Randy likes that she is such a Diva, but it turns me off.

This is going to be a great season. I can't wait.

I am NOT a country fan but I have to admit, I think Scotty will take the whole thing. His voice is pure and true.

My vote goes to Casey though. What a cutie!!!!!!! I think he is a lot more talented than we have seen yet. I'm looking forward to his performances.

I could listen to Stefano ALL night long. What a beautiful voice!

I don't especially care for any of the girls except that really young one but I don't remember her name.

You know. when they announce the winners each year, they always say, "in no particular order", meaning number of votes? This year, they didn't say that when they announced Scotty first. Then, they eliminated a few more guys and switched voting to the girls, and picked three girls, I'm wondering if anyone thinks the people chosen first, were picked in the order of how many votes they received? If you listened to the crowd when they announced everyone, Scotty definitely got louder cheers from the audience than the others, and I'm thinking he might be the front-runner?


Anyway, I'm very pleased with the outcome, and I love the fact that there are so many singer/songwriters this year. Adding that additional element of writing your own music, really tells me they are a true artist, and not just a performer, although there is nothing wrong with that!

I agree with you, and I hope Stefano will not be overlooked, I don't really cares who wins the show anymore (not since Adam lost :() but I would like to see a lot more of Stefano. Hope he stands out enough to just make it for a while.

I'm a little confused about who is left after last week, so I'll be watching to catch up. I had so many interruptions during last week's show I hardly remember it. I guess I should grow up and get DVR like everybody else.

I have to say that I'm really impressed by this season's talent.
Ive gotten bored with the last few seasons but there isn't anyone that I really don't like! They are all awesome!

They do have an amazing group of people this season but for some reason I am not as interested in most of them as I usually am each season. I am still a huge Casey fan so I will be voting for him every week. I thought the judges were off base with most of the contestants last night and disagreed with them on almost all of their critiques. (Except Casey's :D)

I wonder who is going home. It's a close race because they all did so well. Two of my favorites have slipped down a couple of notches. Paul has a unique voice but I'm not sure its a great voice. I liked his Rod Stewart, but last night he didn't sound good. His dancing is another story.
Jason L. has a powerful voice, but I like to listen to him more than watch him preform. My favorite has to be James D. Wow can he sing.

I know!!! That is what I mean about the judges. They loved him and I thought he was really bad last night.:confused:

I admit I fast forwarded through several. They sang well, but I thought they were boring. Who do you think will be in the bottom 3?

I thought most of them were very good last night. Of course my favorite is still Scotty.:) I was also disappointed in Paul's performance. It will be interesting to see who goes home. I did not like Naima's performance either.

I believe James will be in the final 3 ..really liked Paul until last night i don't think he helped himself at all..I like Pia she is very talented can't waited to see who goes

I love this season of AI, wayyyy better than last year. It's a tough one this year for sure.
