For me it's all about Pia, and I hope she loosens up a bit and moves around and doesn't fall on her face. I wouldn't mind seeing Paul go, then Haley, Jacob & Scotty over the next 3 weeks (they are good but I'm tired of them so they can go make records now), and Casey had better do better than last night or I'll be waving goodbye to him too, Stephano and Lauren have more potential to be revealed. I just wanted to let you guys know. Paul is really having a hard time with his voice. He is from my hometown. It was in our newspaper yesterday that he was diagnosed with nodules on his vocal chords in February. I've noticed that the part of his voice that gets on your nerves has gotten worse each week. I can even hear it in his speaking voice now. The newspaper said that he is on medication but his voice needs rest and he needs surgery. They even said that if he's voted off this week he might be able to have the surgery in time to recover before the tour this summer. It would be something if that happened and then he was really great on the tour, wouldn't it? I'm not disagreeing with you all though - his voice is really struggling. I suspect he'll be gone tonight. |

This is the first time I've ever watched American Idol. I literally cried when Pia was eliminated. I'm sorry, I know a lot of people have "issues" with the fact that she doesn't prance around stage...but come on...enough to be voted off the show?! She is hands DOWN the best vocalist on the show AND she is beautiful, graceful and you can just TELL that she is not remotely arrogant about her abilities. I'm sorry about the rant but it's just unbelievable to me that other people that are not as talented as her still remain. I am incredibly disappointed. :thumbdown |
I think she got voted off because she acts like she already won the whole thing. She thinks she's a diva. She has a beautiful voice but something about her just makes me think she walks around like her "poop" doesn't stink. It is great to be confident but I don't know?? something about her personality irks me. |

I am in shock. All three of those in the bottom three did not deserve to be there but then I guess they can't all win. I love Pia's voice but I did not like her song choice last night and I think that is what hurt her. |

Oh my what was that Iggy Pop??? Reminded me of a drunk. Constantine runined one of my top all time favorite songs . I didn't really like that arrangement. Maybe it's just me. |

I'm not disappointed or shocked as AI always has something like this happen...I thought she has an amazing voice and so techincal vocally but no heart and soul and passion just too concerned on the techincality. If she showed passion and put her heart into it she would have lasted longer. At least my favorite is still in running Lauren and James! |

i'm sad to see Pia go, she was beautiful, however so was not original enough for my personal music taste. my fav is Hailey because she is just so unique. i also like James because it's amazing to see someone overcome autism to be a star. |

Pia was by far not my favorite, but there were others who I thought should have been gone first. I do think she is a beautiful person with a beautiful voice and I felt bad for her. I think there is as much shock over the Iggy Pop performance as Pia leaving. What was that? LOL. |
Pia's voice was one of my favorites....However, she did lack the ability to perform a song.....A Tina Turner song should have been delivered with a wow factor....walking around the stage carrying a mike doesn't cut it. However, I think maybe in time she can learn to become a performer.....There was only one contestant that had the Performer Quality from the get go and that was Adam Lambert.... I to this day don't understand why they used the save on Casey.....not that spectacular of a singer.....I truely wish Jacob would have been the one to leave....something about him I just don't care for... |
