Am I the only one that thought he and Jackie had very good chemisty during their date? She just seems to stay in the background, quietly taking it all in, and doesn't seem to ruffle any feathers in the house...If Brad wants a woman that is strong, caring but acts like a lady, Jackie seems to fit the bill...the other thing I noticed is the camaras don't show Emily in alot of the group photos..where is she??? I think she is a doll, and would like to see her win..but I too, just don't think Brad is quite refined enough for her,,, I really can't see someone like her bringing someone into Rickki's life on a whim...but she is a very strong person, and a pretty good judge of people... I think Brad would be a very good father figure for Rickki.

I don't really care much for Brad. I agree that there is something funny about the way he talks, it's kind of creepy. And what's up with calling his shrink all the time?? That would make me want to run.

I am surprised that he has kept Michelle on after the things she says to him. She seems to controlling and scary. But...did you notice the look on Brad's face when she kept kissing him?? He totally melted. He had a BIG grin on his face when he walked back into the room with the rest of the ladies. That grin looked real to me. I think Michelle might be around for awhile after seeing that.

When I saw that Brad was going to be the Bachelor I wasn't going to watch it but I know I have a Bachelor addiction, even though the idea of the whole show is really pathetic. That's my 2 cents worth.

I'm not a Brad fan either; I can't decide if he's super nice but just talks
r e a l s l o w . . OR if he's just not that bright and a little creepy. Right now, I'm leaning towards creepy but . . I'll keep an open mind.

It cracks me UP how he's calling his shrink all the time on national television. Yes, I would certainly want all my shrink conversations broadcast 'round the world.

yup it is! has to be. there's not a good shrink on this earth that would tell you to go and kiss a ton of women to find a wife. they try to find balance and shows like this aren't balancing. he's a shrink to the stars aka...in it for the TV Time and payment. believe me, having been to a REAL therapist this guys a QUACK.

and knowing he picks Chantal is kinda cool i guess. she's ok and i don't rly care about this show that much now. i just wanna see the cool places they go and ride it out for fun.

Here's to EMILY as the new bachelorette, she's more eligible than anyone else i've ever seen on there.

Well, I'm glad you are going to continue watching; it's interesting to get your viewpoint. The show keeps advertising that this is the most "controversial season ever", and I wonder what all the controversy is about, I mean they've had some very controversial seasons in the past. Does he pick Emily and she says "No way?"

By the way, I read that Chantal, was married to a guy in a rock band, and she broke up with him because she wanted a more normal life, I wonder if this is part of her attraction to Brad, I mean he might seem "normal" after being with a rocker.

Michelle is totally a girl's girl. NOT .

I'm starting to feel a little irritated by Brad's constant look of "deer in the headlights" -- as if everything these women feel/do/say is so mystifying. I think some of the on-camera obsessing is needed for the show/Brad's narrative...but still. Makes him seem a little wishy-washy.

Emily is so lovely...but she still seems to be holding her cards close to her chest. I'm not sure there's enough chemistry btwn Brad and Emily either...

I just have to ask.....is that show for real? I mean seriously, I cannot for the life of me get into it. Just seems ridiculous....all that staged crap...and women competing for a guy? Ugh. Like how in the world could you possibly fall in love in front of cameras? Just don't get it...

Oh...and I suppose I am going a bit off topic. Maybe I should start a thread about it...I really would like to get some feedback on it. I honestly do not understand.
