Okay I just watch the final rose show when they appeared live last night. I think they will get the kinks out and make it work. They need to adjust back to real life and ignore the tabloids and outside banter. Emily will have to make that move to Austin...my home town! Austin is a very nice place to live, for Emily and her daughter.

Also, totally agree with what you said about how Brad communicates...it's kind of hard to articulate what his communication style is, but it makes me so confused at times...maybe bc he's so confused, and that comes through? I dunno.

As you can tell...I also have been in shock, and have thought about the show alot...now, I just have to share my thoughts... I believe Brad got upset, because he was trying to tell Emily, he was ready to be a father to Rikki, and Emily kept asking, if he knew what it meant...I think Brad spent MANY hours going over this in his head, and was proud of the decission he made and instead of it coming across that he was committing himself to Emily and Rikki, Emily was wanting to assure herself that Brad was willing and understood what being a father could be like, not just the flying a kite in the park.. Also, Emily had not seen the show airing until weeks after the last shoot, so she had to digest all of this and that would have to be really hard, but hey, this is a show and Brad had to complete a contract...

I think they will make it.. Rikki, will be Emily's main focus no matter what, and I think that is why she is slowing things down because she will not uproot Rikki without feeling it is 100% good for all involved...and who knows, Brad may even decide to come to her...

I can't start to think what it would be like to begin a relationship in a whirlwind like this, but I do believe, when you meet the right person, you can feel an instant attraction that can lead to true love.. Brad may have alot of faults, but I really feel he is a kind, loving person that will protect both of them, and once he commits his love, I think it will be for good, and that is what Emily and Rikki needs, if he wasn't that type of person, I don't think Emily would stay for a minute, she would have been home with her little girl.

And Brad's family will be an extended family for them, you can tell they are true down to earth people, and I felt soooo sorry for his brother when he asked about Rikki's Dad, talk about a BIG shoe in your mouth!!!

Lots of great thoughts and you sound like someone who has the ability to look at it from both people's perspective, if you can see where the other person is coming from you can often accept what they are saying much easier. We don't always need people to agree with us, we need to understand WHY the other person feels the way they do. This ability will help you in your relationships to be a much more understanding person, now if Emily and Brad have this trait, they might be able to make it too!

Lol, I felt so bad for his brother too, he turned three shades of red!
