Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() I think that's pretty much a normal part of adolescence. I had it easy in my family because I am THE AUNT. I got to spoil them all rotten and send them back to their parents. When the parents inevitably became stupid, I was still being introduced as "my Aunt Betty - she's really cool.". I don't think my oldest sister has gotten over that yet. Don't you remember how stupid your parents became when you turned 13? I do. It took them until I went to college and turned 20 to get their brains back. Even though I knew all along that I had the absolute world's best parents. |

I have a 25 year old son...they do grow up, but he thought I was pretty dumb for a time. I'm happy to say he now asks me for advice once in a while! ![]()

YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() I am going to be lost when Alex leaves too. I know he is in the 9th and I only got this year and 3 more. He is really a momma's boy but he don't want anyone to know it. lol. It has been him and me since he was born and I dread the day when he leaves for college. I'll be a crying mess.... |

| ![]() you think being the parent of a prickly teen is bad, try being the older sister who has full custody i went from being the cool sister with the cool house and the cool dog. to being "just Lissa" and liveing "in some crappy suburb" with "the most awesome dog in the world" she calls him her nephew and shows off pics of him at school i have the opposite problem she gets mad and storms off when he is not dressed with a top knot
