I think that's pretty much a normal part of adolescence. I had it easy in my family because I am THE AUNT. I got to spoil them all rotten and send them back to their parents. When the parents inevitably became stupid, I was still being introduced as "my Aunt Betty - she's really cool.". I don't think my oldest sister has gotten over that yet.
Don't you remember how stupid your parents became when you turned 13? I do. It took them until I went to college and turned 20 to get their brains back. Even though I knew all along that I had the absolute world's best parents. |
