We also ate mayo on saltine crackers. It had to be Dukes brand mayo which I still order off the Internet because it's only available in the South. MMMMM Other weird things I like are salt on grapefruit, A1 Sauce on french fries, hot pepper vinegar on veggies (another Southern thang) and Buffalo sauce on most anything I put in my mouth! I'm sure I could come up with more, but I'm heading to the kitchen to make a 'nana sammich'

| LOL Sherry Lynn....you sure you're not from Bama girl? Lyn is my middle name too! I think I have had all those things. And some nice green beans, black eyed peas with cornbread and a fresh never been in the fridge t'mater. Mmmm. And you are totally right about the "redneck" bread. It has to be the really cheap soft store brand that turns immediately to sugar. Enjoy the nan sammich! |

No South Carolina, but the best is... Greens with 'pot licker' soaked up in the cornbread... fried green 'maters... and the green beans HAD to have some fatback or bacon grease... cantelope slices... macaroni pie... and fried okra, chicken, pokechops -lawd have mercy- ANYTHING fried!!! And of course there has to be a 'naner puddin' to finish it all off.... And now I'm thinking of a 'minner cheese' sammich on 'redneck bread' too. I am SO homesick right now!!!

| Wow, and I thought I liked some weird stuff! Here are mine, but I must admit that they seem pretty normal after reading some of the things that you guys eat! Cream cheese with salsa poured over it, then it eat as dip with chips (either Tostitos or Doritos) Eggs with ketchup (but I have to be in the mood for it) I too love chips on my sandwiches cottage cheese with my roman noodles Salad with french dressing and cottage cheese Fried bologna sandwiches with ketchup (it's the only way I'll eat bologna)
