I haven't even thought of those in a gazillion years!! Now I have to have one!!! The bananas had to be sweet and ripe and the sandwich had to be on really soft white -or as my family calls it (no offense intended) Redneck bread!
We also ate mayo on saltine crackers. It had to be Dukes brand mayo which I still order off the Internet because it's only available in the South. MMMMM
Other weird things I like are salt on grapefruit, A1 Sauce on french fries, hot pepper vinegar on veggies (another Southern thang) and Buffalo sauce on most anything I put in my mouth!
I'm sure I could come up with more, but I'm heading to the kitchen to make a 'nana sammich'
