on the right hand side of the bar that says Tags there is a link that says Edit Tags. If you click on that you can add a tag.

You can tag an old ad, as long as you still want the thread to be found. I think as long as a thread is open, you can tag it, but once it's closed you cannot edit tags.

Well, I do have a closed thread but sure as heck don't want to tag it:(

The sad thing is that one of my old threads is already tagged. My old age must really be getting the best of me.
