The definition of "slammed" is subjective. What you might think is slamming might just mean disgreeing to me.. Political correctness....agreeing with everything despite its absurdity......drives me nuts. ~Joanne~

I cannot understand why you think you are :rolleyes: Maybe people are bothered that others are not suspended.. My take on it is no matter who it is.. it takes more then one person to cause drama.:rolleyes:. and when a group of friends ( always the same group )make sure each other knows of a thread and all get posting within no time trying to make one person look stupid or bad is just not right..defending each other against one person..it has been made very obvious.
I am like many of the older members.. do not post.. do not offer help.. as I get offended at some bullying that goes on.. seems a lot of intimidation is happening.. and I for one this past week am glad to see other long time members noticing the same as I am..

Yes, exactly. Every single person's perception of what is being said and how it is being said is *different*.

Try to be civil. Try to be respectful. Try to be compassionate, when you can. If you can be none of those things, step away. This community is as big as a city, what do you each do in public, in your city....exercise quite a bit of tolerance and acceptance....or...?

But, seriously, every member here needs to remind themselves that their opinion is subjective.

I don't think there is a rule about drama? And, what is drama to you anyway? Another subjective term imho.

Yes, I do know about bullying. About people attacking and trying to intimidate and get people banned from this forum. I know it from first hand experience. :)

The thing is...no one here or even in real life pays my bills...and even if they did, I would still have my own opinion. I state it freely and have not attacked and/or harmed anyone. Perhaps in their minds? I really don't know...as someone has said many things are subjective.

I know who I am...I don't think who I am. ;)

Ohhhh and yes, I do see certain people who never post come out of the woodwork at different times to gang up on people. I get accused of doing that by people who must do it, because quite frankly I don't have the time...NOR the inclination to do it. I am not afraid to stand alone and speak my mind. Most people who know me, know that is a stone cold FACT. :)

honestly i just have to say that what is seen posted publicly is only the tip of the iceberg most of the time. So one cannot make assumptions about the situation or the people involved by what everyone can read on a thread. There is usually more going on in PMs when people don't want others to publicly see their true colors.

Sometimes it's helpful to remind ourselves of what really goes on here -- one way to do that is to go through each and every section, asking yourself:

How much positive is happening here?
How much negative is happening here?

It usually provides a more accurate viewpoint of what YT is really all about. After one looks at the negative vs. positive, the next step is choose which one you want to focus on :).

I think it's important to realize that if someone is suspended or banned, you may not ever see the post or reason behind it. Could be that the post was deleted. Or it could be because it was the result of some exchange that took place via PM. So don't assume that looking back through a member's post history is always going to provide you with the answer as to "why" a member was suspended/banned. :)

I agree. I was shocked too about certain members were suspended/banned yet I couldn't find a mean spirited thing that was said by either. Yet I see people attack each other, "slam" each other, and just are rude and awful and nothing happens to them. Kind of makes you wonder. . .

Again, and without naming names, maybe it wasn't because of a post made publically and in a thread where you can see it. Maybe it was because of a PM that you would have never seen, or something else. Who knows? :)

That could be true. A lot goes on "behind the scenes" of YT which is the sad part. I thought PMs were private though. Why could someone get suspended/banned over that. . .

Why should their be a "behind the scenes" of a dog forum thats mean't to share our love for yorkies I have no idea. :confused:

Kind of sad the drama has to go everywhere, including a dog forum.
