				 | I am just praying at this point that I can get a root canal and a crown. I hope and pray they do not have to pull this tooth. They can't... I can't let them, I'll have to beg, fight and cry that they figure out how to save it. I can't go with no tooth right in the middle of my smile line for a month or more!!! I have an appt at 930am. I'll keep ya posted!

You did make me laugh for sure! If you knew me... you'd know how hard this is on me though. I am the one who flosses every single day, brushes at least 2x a day every single day and at least 3x every other day. I take care of my teeth. I was lucky enough to never have a cavity until this year. Now I find out that I have 4 cavities and 2 were so bad that one tooth had to come out and now this tooth is iffy at best. How does that happen??? I always took care of and appreciated my teeth and smile, no braces, no problems ever. This is a big blow... I can't understand what I could have done better and I ask the dentist what more can I do to prevent this in the future and he says nothing really, I do all the right things. gggrrrrr

				 | woohoooo I am done! I went in the dentist for 930am..... I got home at 3pm!!!! YIKES! I did however, get a root canal (easy!), a post and composite build up and a lovely permanent crown! Thats right!!! No 2nd appt, no waiting, no temp anything... it's ALLLLLLL done!!!!!!! wooohooo $2750 later, the last trouble tooth is all fixed... the rest of my teeth are good!!! All I want after this (next year) is an implant, but that will be a year from now. Its about $4,100. I know I made this out that I had horrible teeth... I don't. I had 4 cavities but 2 of them went to town and grew huge really fast. One tooth had to come out and 2 teeth needed fillings and this last tooth needed the most work to save it but in my whole mouth I only have 4 teeth that needed work, 2 small cavities on one of them and one missing tooth now. Its not that bad.... the cost kills me!!! I am sore as all heck right now, my gums are screaming but the novacain wore off before they did the fitting and I didn't want any more. So I finished the work not numbed, it was not that bad except the string under my gums hurt like heck when they took it out. Advil will handle the major pain and I should be good by tomorrow for the most part.

Oh yeah, Ive learned the hard way, if you need a filling, get it! LOL I have put it off 2x now and lost 1 tooth and needed a ton of work on the other one. yuck! double yuck! Fillings are sooooo much cheaper than root canals, crowns or implants!!! Thanks Deb!!! (for the vacation wish AND for following my super boring dental work thread)
