She's wearing it to a con, like comic con, but just not as big. So it'll be worn during the day.

Oh yeah i forgot to say, I did go to the disney expo (sucked btw) but they did have some costumes on display. The gowns they had were very very very nice, especially the Elizabeth Swann gown, and the one from Enchanted.

Okay...lightweight, wrinkle free, it almost has to be a knit of some kind. You need to look at stores where skaters and dancers get fabric for their costumes. I would think the fabrics would be a better quality, and you would have a multitude of choices in the knit category.

I have seen real movie costumes upclose. They are on display often at my old school's museum. They are not as awesome as you would think. Lots has to do with camera lighting and effects. For example, the first Elizabeth movie. the jewels on her gowns were plastic! But in the movie they can tweak it to look like real jewels. In real life we don't have that option (unless you count beer goggles) so in essence, my costumes have to look better than the movie ones bc we don't get to use special effects..
