Go on a 'sexy date' night. Go to a darkly lit bar or restaurant, get dressed up, wear heels, laugh with each other, don't talk serious. Touch each other a lot during the night, the knee, arm, cheek... and smile a lot. This makes you feel sexy and want to get it on! At least this is what cosmo says! HAHAHA I am always in and out of 'slumps', some weeks it could be 4x and sometimes it could only be 1x. It usually depends on how much I feel like I have to do. I am not on meds or birth control so it's not that. Its just there is so much going on all the time with work, school, remodeling, 2 kids(step), dogs, friends, family. I also found that we both like poker and play it on facebook and at one point we were sitting on the couch at night playing poker for 2 hours without looking at or talking to each other. This probably did not help our situation. We've both backed away from that and we both have started working out more! We also don't do certain 'mood killer' things in front of each other. This might change when we move in together but for the most part we are comfortable with each other but not 'toooooo' comfortable. If you know what I mean! :) Good Luck! You got a lot of good ideas and advice! :) |

I feel for you as a I am turning 35 I myself have been feeling that I am ignoring the need for sex and as well my husbands need ...its a need not a want. Our bodies need the endorphins and we need it mentally to remain healthy and stable. I know I should lol listen to what I type here! I am so into the mode of mommy /wife that I forget partner too...that he is my life partner and husband and best friend -but passion should always be important in a marriage:) |
Cosmo has an article this month, something like 7 habits you could be doing that is killing your libido. I can remember a few of them and some are, try to get the same amount of sleep on weekends as you do weeknights. Get off the pill. Don't have more than 2 drinks (alcohol) in a night. Don't watch the news before bed. Be done dinner by 8pm at the latest. Go to the gym or at the very least do a couple laps around your office a few times a day to get blood pumping. I can't remember the last one! |

Martial sex ........what is that? I forgot. Ive been married 20 yrs! Joking aside, for me it kind of comes in waves. Generally its based on what is going on or if we have been getting along. WIth me its alot with whats mentally going on. SOmetimes you just have to relax and let go...and almost force yourself to do it and you might find you are enjoying it. Seems like the longer I wait the less I want it too. Or Ive did this tactic, wasnt in the mood at all, so I say "OK IM TIRED YOU HAVE 5 MINUTES NO FANCY STUFF" Its all about him and keeping the peace, but hey it works ! |

Permanent Birth Control WITHOUT Surgery! This has been one of the most interesting threads yet! :D And, I surely didn't think I'd have much, if anything, to add because you all have covered just about every aspect of the topic at hand... But, I thought I'd pass on a tidbit of information to those of you who are done with child bearing. And, are looking for a hormone free birth control that does not require surgery. Plus the procedure may be covered by your insurance. Answers to many questions about the procedure can be found on throughout the website. Essure - Permanent Birth Control by Conceptus |
Hmm, getting a glass of wine, some paper and pen to take notes when reading this thread!!!! |
