| ![]() Ok not really but I feel like I'm now on the Government $#!& list. I have been going back and forth with a government agency for a couple months now and they are ticking me off royally . It is all about puppy selling and consumer rights and alll that stuff and they just keep closing their eyes. So today I figure I'm at my limit with being nice so I wrote a rude letter and I'm sending it out in mornings mail! I told them I hope they are enjoying my tax dollars paying thier salary while they fart around and twiddle there thumbs ,being lazy and not doing anything. And all this stuff about how they are CRAP and have no intention of enforcing laws and how can people selling pups under false things just say " who me" "No I didn't" and they don't even investigate any futher if the seller says "No I didn't". I wrote alot more saying they should be ashamed of themselves but probably weren't as long as the paychecks from my tax dollars kept rolling in...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. So now I'm guessing I'm on a s**t list somewhere and it will get me some day!!!!!!!! ![]() ![]()

| ![]() I know bureacracies are frustrating, but I can tell you as a former employee of a state agency, you're better off to write your angry letter and keep it in your desk to refer to when you're mad. Then write another one dripping with sweetness and send that. Bureaucrats KNOW you're at their mercy and if they don't like your manner, your complaint can "migrate" to the bottom of the pile -- over and over and over again. So for gratification, be mad, but for results, you'll catch more flies with honey, as the saying goes. |

| ![]() Were you contacting the right department. There are so many departments to the government, if you don;t get the right on - they don't care about you. And it is not their job (they think) to tell you that. If you did get ahold of the right department - send your complaint by handwriting your letting - it means more to them. And find out what their issue or main topic bill is, etc.. so they become interested. Talk to your representative in your area - he/she knows they will need your vote next time they run and remind them if necessary. Remember too - that loudest noise gets the oil. Good luck. Did you also contact AKC? T. |

| ![]() Yes definately right department. My first 2 letters were sweet so I figured the pissy third one would just relieve my frustration since they aren't going to do squat anyways.I also hand wrote each one. I can ony assume this stupid place I was complaining about spends a bit more on them then my tax dollar because it makes no sense. First of all the whole stinking problem is that my complaint conforms to the puppy lemon law. Second my complaint is covered by the store's own guarantee. Third... Big government boys aren't going to do a thing ,and tell me too bad and since the store said that I was lying and they also said a bunch more lies, then suddenly I am in the wrong and I will get no justice. Well DUHHH of course the store is going to say thay didn't do anything. What I don't understand is that i have DOCUMENTED Proof and the government agency will still not investigate. One document I have is from the Pet store's OWN VET stating I am right!!!!!! So What would you people think? Of course something very FISHY!!!! By the way. The pet store is directly in the home area of the Government Agency.

| ![]() Any chance of finding a friendly reporter? You could check back issues to see who seems sympathetic and/or call the news desk to see whose beat handles things like ASPCA issues, puppymills, etc. |

| ![]() Well if it were any other issue except dogs I might. I run a rescue here at my home for a few years now and don't want to start too much trouble if push comes to shove. My township has been very nice in letting me do this and I must admit I'm really lucky that the neighbors don't complain.. because they could, and then that would be that. I'm not your usual rescue worker and I run things bass ackwards sometimes but most important is I love the little guys that come through here. I have no hard feelings toward breeders and no hard feelings towards consumers who wish to purchase puppies and not get dogs through rescue. My rescue is based on rehoming those who need homes, and nothing else . Anyways I don't want to do so much that my rescue will be in jepordy(sp?).

| ![]() I have a puppy that is now 7 mouths old and the breeder still has not got the AKC papers. what do you do about that, who helps. I have a contract and I paid good money for her. I want to show her and can't she has not papers. Any one know what to do ? I will never understand breeders that do not get the AKC papers in right away, I do my at 2 weeks old. I did call AKC and they said the so called father of litter has not fathered any litters, but some one did try and do a litter on line and could not........ but nothing has been done in over 30 days. One thing I always tell people don't buy a puppy that dose not have all its paper work and then I go and trust someone....gezzzzz thanks for the vent Lynda |

| ![]() To Doggonyorkies2 - I think there is only a certain amount of time to register the pups - (6 months of age, I think) and then AKC won't let you register them. I could be wrong. I would tell those people that they are breaking their contract if you don't get the papers and tell them you might have to hire an attorney at their expense - if those papers don't come a.s.a.p. But check with AKC on the time limit to register a litter. Good Luck! T. |
