Hence, it is advisable to create an "administrator account" and then run a "user account" so that nothing is ever downloaded or installed without permission first. If you run Windows on a Mac using bootcamp, the Windows programs will be susceptible to all of the problems of a PC. The other option is running Microsoft programs made for Mac. I admit that I use MS Word and Entourage mail for Mac. Also, if you use PaintShop, there is no Mac version. | |

| A MacBook would be perfect for you!! I have the higher end MacBook and have used it for years! I would never go back to a PC again.

| I found a Macbook on the local Craigslist this morning that is exactly what I want: it's less than a year old, already loaded with programs I want and with 2 years left on the AppleCare warranty - all for a price I like!! I emailed them about it hours ago and haven't heard anything. This would be so perfect for me - I really hope someone else hasn't bought it already.

| i just got a new laptop 2 weeks ago. ive always had a windows computer but got a 15 inch macbook pro this time. I LOVE IT!!!! i was used to it in a day. i STRONGLY recommend the macbook pro!

| Does anyone have the Macbook Air? I love my Macbook and I've had it almost two years. I was thinking next time about getting the Air because it's lighter! I considered it when I bought mine, but couldn't really justify the price. Now, I sit with it on my lap so often, I'm always thinking it would be nice to have it weigh a little less!

I would never go back to PC. It doesn't take that long to get used to... the only real differences are the menu (there's no start menu on the bottom, you have a "finder" etc) and the 'x' on the top of your browsers is on your left, rather than the right. Those were the only 2 main things to get used to for me.
