That is very cool! I never would have guessed that English was your second language! Yes, I agree that you have a fancy vocabulary LOL. I don't speak German well (I just recently started learning it), but I know what you mean about how blunt they tend to be. :p

I think in spanish and translate in my head. :D

I am not totally fond of chihuahuas because they are so yappy and I don't find them cute. I used to have a chorkie. He was very adorable (chihuahua body but yorkie appearance with a short coat), but he was SO clingy! I had to give him away because he cried SO LOUD when I'm at work that neighbors thought I was abusing him! I just never liked chihuahua after that...I don't dislike but I wouldn't want to own a pug, poodle, rottweiler, boxer, great dane, pekingnese, Japanese chin, Chinese crested, dalamatian, pomeranians (because one of my uncle had one and it always barked at me and tried to bite me! Also, all the ones I've seen are SUPER BARKY=DISLIKE!)...there's more but I can't think of anymore...

I don't hate pitbulls, because I have known several that are bigger babies than my own dog and would probably make the worst guard dogs ever in terms of lack of aggressiveness...however, I HATE and ABSOLUTELY CANNOT STAND how it seems that, in South Florida, every other dog owner has AT LEAST one pitbull because by no means are that many people QUALIFIED to own and train that breed properly. There are several in our condo complex (we have a 40 lb weight limit) that absolutely scare the daylights out of me (especially when I'm walking little Stella), and one that poops next to our porch who I would LOVE to catch doing so at some point.

Personally, I think it's cruel to have a dog that athletic and large in a condo that's only big enough for about 20 lbs of dog. Asking for trouble. One family that Stella & I walk past every day on our walk has TWO GIANT pitbulls...probably the biggest I've ever seen, definitely not to any breed standard. They always bark at us and jump up on the patio door and I'm scared one day they'll knock it off the track or something...OH and this family has a young infant. Just scary scary and unfair to those dogs.

I hate Chihuahua's. My boyfriends mom has one and its the stupidest dog I have ever come in contact with. My dog doesn't even like her, she looks at me like "Can we please go back home" They are VERY yappy and unattractive I agree. They are ranked down there with the dumbest dogs, and I believe it 100 %

Pit Bulls. I do not like pits at all. I have had 2 experiences with pits attacking my dog and my grandmas dog.

minus the hair, yorkies look like chihuahuas sooo........

I have to agree. Yorkies without their hair look like rats. Hence why they have their hair LOL

I'm probably the only one in the world that really doesn't like Golden Retrievers. I know this is just from personal experience - I used to know someone who trained and raised show dogs. They were "obedience" trained and had ribbons but every time I would go visit, those dogs would jump up, get my clothes all dirty and just be awful. My doberman, who was a rescue pup, who was not officially trained, was much smarter and well mannered. I'm sure there are nicely trained Golden Retrievers but I haven't met one yet. Irish Setters are another breed but once again it is just because of the only one I met that used to attack me whenever I rode my bike at college.

I think so too! Everytime I give Missy or Dora a bath, my 3 kids have to comment on how they look like "Chi-wow-wow's" :p

Agreed on the Yorkies-look-like-Chi's thing...that was my exact thought the first time I gave Stella a bath. It's their little beard that saves the day!

I have a loyal and sweet Shih Tzu named Daisy. My Shih Tzu loves to be spoiled and pampered like a princess. She has a laidback personality. She is not demanding; she patiently waits for my affection. She was the perfect dog for me to own when I was in college. My Shih Tzu is very smart. She loves to learn tricks for food rewards. She is the most obedient dog I have ever owned. Shih Tzus are one of my favorite breeds. I think Shih Tzus have one of the cutest faces. Everybody have their preferences on what type of dog they would like to own. I love all dogs, but I prefer to own dogs from the toy group.

I think every breed has something special about them and something cute. I don't hate anyone or any animal and I wouldn't comment as I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I mean the last thing I would want to hear is someone things my breed of dog is ugly, I think that is mean.. JMO :)
