Yes, I know what you mean. The first time Lola was suppose to be spayed, my brother and mother went to the Vet to drop her off, and they said no not now, she is in heat. I *think* they told us to come back, like 30 days after her heat was finished

You can spay during a heat cycle......an added cost to it....You can also spay during an early pregnacy......But, Ann is right to wait, this little/big girl has been through so much already.

Ann, I hope you've realized that whoever adopts Ambrey is going to have to join YT. If anyone else is like me, they've fallen head over heels for her. We're going to need regular updates and pics.

This made me LOL! We rescued an American Bulldog this summer and we have made that comment many times. The AB thinks she weighs 8 lbs and the yorkie thinks that she weighs 85

I'm glad you are helping this sweet girl! Our AB rescue has brought us a lot of joy, and don't tell Bonnie, but she has really stolen a piece of my heart even though technically she is my son's dog!

Your an angel also.. She looks great and so healthy! I love hearing about these lives saved, you all are an inspiration !

OMG!!! She was just *sunken* when you found her. SO GLAD she came to your family, what a blessing!!!

Well, I said I'd upload a video tonight...so I have to follow through on my word. She didn't "hop" as high as usual tonight...I think bc she had a "buzz-kill" part way through her normal "hopping" bc her chew got stuck under a piece of furniture (as you'll see). Usually, the hopping escalates until she hops about a full foot off the ground

. But anyway, here is a partial pre-hopping episode, LOL

, as promised. Sorry the video isn't great - it's only the 2nd video I've ever taken in my life

OMG...that first picture took my breath away

and not in a good way! Poor baby but, what a beautiful lapdog she has grown into!
