| Good luck to you. I quit a 35 year habit, a little over 2 years ago. I took Chantix and it worked great for me. No side affects whatsoever. I don't even have any cravings. I swear by the Chantix. Without it, I don't think I would have ever been able to do it.

| Good for you! Some day you will have to quit...why not have it be today? I'm an ex-smoker and quitting smoking was the HARDEST thing I ever did! I wasn't just addicted, I LOVED to smoke. Looking at those words now....YUCK! Although some days I do miss having a ciggy, I can honestly say I don't miss how they made me feel. By day three, you should be starting to feel that although very edgy you also FEEL much better. You can breathe deeper and you have more energy and your food starts to taste different. Being a Type A personality, I had to trade my smoking habit for another one. I started running! :-) Let's face it, you can't take a 7 mile run and come back and smoke a cigarette when your done. It kept me from gaining weight. I actually lost 8 lbs. when I quit smoking. Nonetheless, that's not for everyone. I also used string licorice. I'd tie it in knots...just kept tying and tying it cause I needed something to do with my hands. Best of luck and keep us posted!!!!!

| How are you doing today? The nicotine should be almost out of your system.Just checking. Yes they are nasty little death sticks and your life is worth much more than that. |

| Glad to hear you are still smoke-free! Just sending good thoughts your way and encouragement to stay off the cigs. Remind yourself of all the reasons for not smoking! If you have kids, nieces, nephews, whatever -- think of the example you are setting in your choice to be smoke-free! You may not even realize how many will be affected by your decision. You could be the catalyst to save lives for generations! All by saying -- no more! Keep up the good work!

| Unfortunately, I caved this past weekend STUPID, ugh! If my husband would stop being an @ss for just a few days! But I can't blame him, I'm a big girl and I did it to myself. I'll try again soon.

| You are doing so awsome! Remember that the bad stuff is out of your system now. and it is just the habit that makes you want the cigs. Take that money that you are saving by not buying the cigs, and do something special for your self each week as a celebration of not smoking. Something just for you! You are just wonderful. And as sweetneas said about the Chantex I agree. I started smoking 35 years ago, quit at least a dozen times, but this time is different. I use to get the panic feeling etc, and even dream of cigs. But this time I don't. And each time I started again I felt like a failure, but my Respatory guy said that the only time I am a failure is when I quit trying to quit. It made me feel better. What ever works for you is what counts, and it sounds like you are doing a wonderful job.
