| Oh Carol, I'm just seeing this now. I'm so sorry you've had to deal with all that but I'm so glad you weren't hurt in the accident. I also want to say: "You Go Girl!!!!" Good for you for not letting him get away with this.

| It always amazes when people act like this. Not fair to put you through the run around. This happened to me. The guy wanted to pay out of pocket than wouldn't return our calls. I reported it to his insurance company. The insurance company called him and surprise he didn't call them back either. Thankfully here (Nova Scotia) they send a registered letter with my accusation and if they don't hear from their client within a certain amount of time his insurance company accepts my side of the story and they pay out. I had to wait longer, but I didn't have to really do much of a battle. |

It's amazing how many low-life's are out there and are highly educated as well. This person would have definately gotten away with this had I not worked here and had access to records and him! I am waiting for the claim inspector to come today to look at my car and give me the check. I did learn a lesson from this. Alway's, alway's call the cops for a police report of any accident. If it's on file he ignore it. Two witnesses were not enough for me to settle the claim without him. Next step would have been small claims court and I would have taken him with no problem. | |

| It is very irritating when people will not just own up to their responsibilities. He probably thinks if he makes it inconvenient enough for you, you will just drop it. Glad to hear he has run into a different kind of lady! Now that you have his boss's attention, you should be able to get something done about it. Go get him! If he has a problem with accidents or worrying his rates might increase, he might be ahead of the game just to write you a check for the $520. But he needs to either do that or let his insurance know to settle it with you. Wish all people would just own up to their repsonsibilities and pay up on their obligations. The world would be such a nicer place if people did not try to shirk their responsibilities! And he's a teacher -- setting a fine example!
