It is very irritating when people will not just own up to their responsibilities. He probably thinks if he makes it inconvenient enough for you, you will just drop it. Glad to hear he has run into a different kind of lady! Now that you have his boss's attention, you should be able to get something done about it. Go get him! If he has a problem with accidents or worrying his rates might increase, he might be ahead of the game just to write you a check for the $520. But he needs to either do that or let his insurance know to settle it with you.

Wish all people would just own up to their repsonsibilities and pay up on their obligations. The world would be such a nicer place if people did not try to shirk their responsibilities! And he's a teacher -- setting a fine example!
