i have been reading y'alls posts but i was too scared to post my scary story last night. everytime i think about it i get chills and since its not night yet..ill tell u guys my scary story :/. its weird. let me just tell you wat happened the time i was about to post it here(i dont remember if i ended up posting it here as a thread as a second try).well i wrote down my long story that im about to tell...i even detailed it and everything and as soon as im done... my comp turned off by itself. maybe coincidence idk but i was already freaked out as it is.

one night..i was with my bf all night and got home around 2 am. my mom,dad, sisters and i all live in an apt. ive never really felt like at home here...its just the vibe idk wat it is really. well... i get home at 2 am and head into my room...my sister was sleeping on my bed...i wasnt surprised...sometimes she does this. so i change and get ready to go to bed..i then lay down and i see one of my curtains is a little bent and a little light is coming in... im in the process of choosing if to stand up and move it or go to sleep... i also see my sister is sleeping and she even is like snoring a bit and i giggled since shes only 7. well when im still deciding... i feel like someone is staring at me from behind and i just ignore it and say.."no way... im just tired.. too much ghost whisperer"(in my head.). well i close my eyes and then i feel goosebumps all over my body.i open them again and see a black shadow laying down in betweeen my sister and me. i wanna yell and i cant. he then says" does it feel good?" and laughs. im here in shock and cant yell and i pinch myself saying am i really awake and this s*** is happenin???? =O! well..i end up seen my sister move... so i knew i was awake and this wasnt a dream. i could see right through him but at the same time... i knew it was a dark shadow of a young guy because thats what it sounded and looked like. after this...even though i knew i was awake ...i keep telling myself this is all b.s and im sleeping.. well he dissapears but i still feel like someones watching me from behind,..so at this point i turn, see the shadow stand up and walk up and to my moms room where my dad was. i tell him what happened and he believes me. he then tells me that he knows theres ghost here because he has seen them at night. no wonder he hates it when my mom closes the door and turns off the hallway light -.-. he says he didnt wanna tell me because he didnt want me or my sisters to get scared. i was a big fan of watching all these scary movies and stuff but after that...i havent watched a scary movie

. i try not to stay home alone. well.. i remember my reason for posting my story the first time was because i got louis like a week after this happened and i wondered if thats why he keeps looking at my room from the living room and barks. this is kinda the only time he barks as hes not really a barker. im assuming he can see the ghost and its scarrryyyyyy >.<. i havent had any troubles lately but i sometimes still feel as if some1 is watching me. before all this happened i remember there were times where my radio turned on by itself and t.v off and like...sometimes id put something in one place and find it somewhere else and blame my mom and sisters for doing this... in the end...they always said it wasnt them so idk if to associate it with the ghosts but it scares me!!! grrr.

Okay, I have another story. This one happened about 5 years ago.

Our upstairs has our master bedroom and 2 other bed rooms. When we first bought this place, we decided that my 2 boys would bunk together in a room, and the other bedroom would be used as a play room. We kept a TV, game systems and toys in there.

Well about 2 weeks before we were to get married, we noticed that the TV kept turning on by itself along with changing channels. We didn't make a big deal of it, just told the kids that it was something electrical.

We had a house sitter come in and take care of the dogs while we went to the beach to get married. Needless to say, it happened to her the first night while we were gone. She called the police and had them here at our house and called me to tell me that she couldn't stay here anymore. My mom finished the week out so that we wouldn't have to come home.

Since then, we have taken out the TV, and made the room into a bedroom for one of my sons since he is getting older. Now, he's autistic and has had several episodes in that room. He called me one night screaming saying that he saw a demon in the corner of the room. What's really weird is that is the same corner that the TV was in.

Me being the religous person that I am, went in with mineral oil and blessed the house. I have also had my preacher come in and say some prayers. My son hasn't had anything like that happen again, but I swear every night before I fall asleep, I see shadows coming from my son's room into the hall way. I close my eyes fast and try to go to sleep.

If anyone has a way of researching properties, I would love to hear it. I don't know the history of my house, but I would like to find out what has or hadn't happened here in my house.

Get to know your neighbors if someone has lived near your house a long time start asking questions. They may or may not say anything not wanting to upset you. That's a start!

That's a great idea dogbert. I will definitely start doing that. It will also give me the chance to meet some of them and get to know them better too.

It seems like the TAPS guys deal with a lighter side of it, where the other show deals more with demons etc. or so it seemed.

why don't you move your son to another room. He might be very scare to sleep there

Actually, nothing has happened for a while, so I think he's alright now.

I have one for you I was in Orlando Fl on vacation the first night was good the second night we got back to the room . it was me my husband and my sister ans her husband .me and my husband took the room and my sister took the pull out couch so she was really close to my room at about 2AM we went to bed there was something about the room i did not like it was later in the night i found out way something grabbed me by my arm's and picked me up out of the bed about 1 foot off the bed i was screaming so loud i that my husband fell off the bed and cut his leg from the top of his foot to his knee but the crazy thing is my sister never heard me !! at 5AM i was packed and ready to go home .. the only thing i got from that trip is no voice for two weeks I will never stay at that hotel every again

I have a ghost that lives in my house. I've acutally seen it. (Or more than one, who knows.) I thought I was crazy at first...all of this wierd stuff happening. After my hubby had a few experiences of his own, then he finally believed me.

Let's see, some of the stuff that's happened:

--We never talk about this in front of my 8yo, and if she ever notices anything, we blow it off. The first time I saw it (above) was on a Sat night. The following Monday, my mom picked her up from school, before I fessed up and told my mom what had happened. She said that Taylor came out of school and kept looking behind her, then got in the car and kept looking in the mirror. She asked her what she was doing and she said, "I keep feeling like someone is following me." My mom asked her who and she said, "I don't know...but it's someone...familiar?"
--Also, saw it one night while I was laying stuff out in the kitchen for a trip we were taking the next day. Our kitchen counter/bar is about waist high and I see really quick this black thing move to the living room on the other side of it. It looked as if my kid, who was supposed to be getting out of the tub at the time, had ducked down and run into the living room. I yelled to her, but she didn't answer. I got mad that she was playing games and walked around to the living room only she wasn't there. Come to find out, she was still in the tub!

--At this point, I'm pretty used to it, doesn't even phase me anymore. I was woken up a few weeks ago in the middle of the night by something hitting the foot of my bed, causing it to shake. I sat up, nothing there. Laid back down and it started again. Sat up again, Trixie was sitting bolt upright, staring into the corner, cocking her head from one side to the other. I said, "Leave me alone, I'm trying to sleep!" Laid back down, and hubby just mumbled, "I already told it that once tongiht."

--Mom was watching the dogs while we were out of town back in July and told me she was never so glad for me to get back in all her life. Said that after that weekend, she fully believed me. Said she was over with the dogs one evening and out of the corner of her eye saw something move by the front window. Said she turned her head that direction and froze, but didn't see anything. Said seconds later, Trixie jumped off the couch to the floor and started barking in that direction like something was there. (Ironically, that's one of the areas where I frequently think I "see" something out of the corner of my eye.)

holly crap I would move....

I would have demanded the hotel come clean about the room.
