| Ghosts! My husband and I were sitting out in the garage over the weekend. He had been gone hunting () with his buddies for a few days and it was a beautiful night so we were just hanging out enjoying the night. He tells me that he had a really weird thing happen to him while out "in the field" that day. He felt like someone was behind him so he turned around to look and saw someone in camo who looked exactly like HIM! I immediately think of his father who passed away several years ago and at that same moment (only) he feels a cold chill and asks if I felt it as well (no I didnt). He then says he felt is again So lets talk about ghosts! I know there have been several threads started in the past and love to read everyones experiences. Any one else want to share? I have another one if anyone is interested..................

| Yes, I would love to hear more of your stories! I have a ghost that lives in my house. I've acutally seen it. (Or more than one, who knows.) I thought I was crazy at first...all of this wierd stuff happening. After my hubby had a few experiences of his own, then he finally believed me. Let's see, some of the stuff that's happened: --We FREQUENTLY hear voices coming from the back room in the house. Almost like whispering behind a closed door. Never anyone there, never any TV on or anything... --Had the automon (sp?) roll across the tile floor in front of the door on it's own, hubby has heard choking noises and run into the room where I am thinking it's me, only it never is. --I've seen it twice. Once I had gone to the bathroom while hubby went to get me a drink of water. Came out, cut the light off, got in bed and sat up as hubby walked back through and around the foot of the bed. Sat up and reached out to get the water from him when suddenly he really DID walk back in the room. Whatever had been there to begin with was suddenly gone. --We never talk about this in front of my 8yo, and if she ever notices anything, we blow it off. The first time I saw it (above) was on a Sat night. The following Monday, my mom picked her up from school, before I fessed up and told my mom what had happened. She said that Taylor came out of school and kept looking behind her, then got in the car and kept looking in the mirror. She asked her what she was doing and she said, "I keep feeling like someone is following me." My mom asked her who and she said, "I don't know...but it's someone...familiar?" --Also, saw it one night while I was laying stuff out in the kitchen for a trip we were taking the next day. Our kitchen counter/bar is about waist high and I see really quick this black thing move to the living room on the other side of it. It looked as if my kid, who was supposed to be getting out of the tub at the time, had ducked down and run into the living room. I yelled to her, but she didn't answer. I got mad that she was playing games and walked around to the living room only she wasn't there. Come to find out, she was still in the tub! --At this point, I'm pretty used to it, doesn't even phase me anymore. I was woken up a few weeks ago in the middle of the night by something hitting the foot of my bed, causing it to shake. I sat up, nothing there. Laid back down and it started again. Sat up again, Trixie was sitting bolt upright, staring into the corner, cocking her head from one side to the other. I said, "Leave me alone, I'm trying to sleep!" Laid back down, and hubby just mumbled, "I already told it that once tongiht." --Mom was watching the dogs while we were out of town back in July and told me she was never so glad for me to get back in all her life. Said that after that weekend, she fully believed me. Said she was over with the dogs one evening and out of the corner of her eye saw something move by the front window. Said she turned her head that direction and froze, but didn't see anything. Said seconds later, Trixie jumped off the couch to the floor and started barking in that direction like something was there. (Ironically, that's one of the areas where I frequently think I "see" something out of the corner of my eye.) |

| My story was passed onto me by my mother, but I thought that I would share. My great grandmother died during child birth. She was an albino except she had blue eyes instead of pink eyes. Well, tell the story short, she lost too much blood and passed before ever getting to see her son, my grandfather. About 2 weeks after this all happened, my great grandfather was in the yard tending to his garden. My grandfather (the baby) was sleeping inside of the house. He saw my greatgrandmother on the porch and she went inside. He followed her, saying she looked like a beautiful angel. She went into the nursery and locked the door. She stayed in there for over an hour. He could hear her singing to her newborn son. After the hour passed, he opened the door to see the baby sleeping and the rocking chair still moving. She was gone. The really interesting part is that my sister looks exactly like my grandmother. Thanks to better medicine she is with us today. She almost died giving birth to her son too.

| I believe in spirits/ghosts . . never personally saw one . . .my kids claim that in the spare bedroom there was this woman that used to come out of the closet every night, look around, and go back in . . they describe her as an old woman with white hair wearing a blue flowered dress and has glasses . . .now, to me, I immediately thought of my grandmother and maybe she used to check in on my daughter (it used to be her room until we built the addition). Also, in the same room, daily I hear like what sounds like a jewelery box lid closing . . it happens a few times a night (don't know what it is) but Rhianna has gone in there several times stares at nothing and just barks. Love this thread!!

| When I was first married my husband and I had an apartment , it was located next to a cemetary... My daughter was around 2 when she came up with this imaginary " friend" his name was David, she colored on her bedroom wall she said " David" told her to do it, she wanted extra cookie's for David ect...she would be in her room giggling etc.. It drove me crazy , well one night my husband ( now x) shaved his moustache, he came out of the bathroom freshly shaved , my daughter had never seen him with out his moustache, and went in to kiss her goodnite, She looked shocked!! She said mommy mommy , now Dadddy looks just like David does... Urrrghhhh I was like okay Danielle , where does David live, she said you know mommy over there , she pointed to the cemetary, she said he only goes there after I go to sleep.. It gave me the biggest chill down my back... yes we moved about 6 weeks later!! My husband was not even a little scared his sister passed away when she was 6 and his entire family say she never left the house.. he never said she haunted his house but weird things often happened after she passed away!

| My son just reminded me of a something that happened in his bedroom a few months back. Brandon (22) was up late 2 AM, playing WoW and heard what he said sounded like someone tapping their foot on the floor next to him. He got up thinking it was me because he sometimes get a little too involved in the action. I was sound asleep in the recliner where I spend quite a few nights after my last surgery. He then looked around the house and didn't see or hear anything or anyone and went back to his game turning his headphones up to drown out the tapping The next day the same thing again but this time it was next to his bed while he was sleeping. He got up again looked around and nothing. The next morning he asked if I had been up because he heard FOOT STEPS in the hallway right after the tapping. This part I just found out a little while ago~~~~he said that he still hears the tapping during the night and has the feeling like someone is watching him! His solution he rolls over toward the wall and goes back to sleep

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I LOVE THESE STORIES!!! hehehehe Some of the ones posted have sent chills down my back. I have one story. I lived in the same house for the first 14 years of my life, then 2 years ago, my mom became disabled and had to stop working, so we lost our house and moved to the next town over (so my brother and I would be able to go to the same high school). there's the backround! haha So this house was a lovely little ranch. It had a broken built-in pool in the backyard, and an attached garage. It was really nice. Despite this, I never felt like I was home in that house. I always wrote it off to just being because I missed my old house/town/life. Then weird stuff started happening. The first thing that ever happened was that I was taking pictures and in one of the pictures, a white lacy "decoration" showed up on the wall. well we had NOTHING like that hanging on the wall and I couldn't find anything that would reflect something that looked like it. I eventually forgot about it. My bedroom was on one side of the house, with the foyer into the house on the other side of my bedroom. Whenever I was walking from the kitchen to my bedroom (past the foyer/living room) at night, I'd get the WEIRDEST feeling and I would run and slam the door behind me - it litterally felt like something was following me. We used to have 2 cats, so we were used to the noise of cats jumping around and running around, etc. and that's what all the little bumps and bangs sounded like. Then we realized, wait a sec. We don't have cats anymore. It sounded like someone just moving around the house. My dad swears he would hear banging on the door at night - from the inside. So weird, I thought. But I tried not to let it get to me, cause I knew it would scare me too much. Then one night I was lying in bed and I glanced at my mirror just in time to see a white figure go out my door. I had about 17 heart attacks. at a garage sale we had one time, my mom was talking to a woman who babysat for the family who lived here about 30 years ago, and when my mom said that I was convinced the house was haunted the woman said "I'm sure it is," bought her stuff, and left. Well, long story short, we got another house down the road (that felt like home the first time I set foot in it ). We moved in in April, and have had no more "disturbances." My dad was talking to some neighbors from the other house, who informed us that back in 80s, a woman was murdered by her husband/boyfriend in the foyer of that home. One of the neighbors that my dad was talking to was one of the first people at the house that night after the cops showed up. I don't miss that house at all, and I'm just glad that I didn't hear that story until after I moved out of it!! PS - strange how things work: when we first moved into our now-new house (haha), she asked where we moved from. We told her our old address, and she said "Wow. There's a lot of history in that house." my dad said "Yes, it's haunted." and she said "My sister-in-law (I think it was sister-in-law) was murdered there." and our new house (That we're living in now) is a 90 year old farm house with a pretty large property, and I was SO scared that it was going to be haunted or something. but nothing's bothered us so far! haha That was way long hahaha.
