BANNED! | HELP!!! Friend In BIG Trouble Here!!! Ok, my friend, she has lost her house because of forecloser, she is now living in a trailor in Olivet, she said her grandma can't afford anything, and the state pays everything for them! She has to go to a place where she meets strange men, and sell them stuff for money, she also said she had to "do-it" with 2 men for $100 each. She says she is pregnant, but you know what, shes ONLY 12, and turning 13 October 30th! She said they used a condum, but she said she is pregnant! she called me at 11:00 PM when my parents were asleep, and was crying the whole way through, but the part i'm suspicious is: she doesn't sound like she used to before for-closer! But another thing is she stole 2 of my shirts and 3 pairs of pants (all Aeropostale clothes - very epensive)! Now tell me, does this stuff seem real, because she has lied to me in the past, and her name is shonee, and "shonee" on the phone sounded like my "friend" Hunter, kind've! Now does this all seem real to you? Or is she faking, or is it someone else! BUT BE AWARE- The Flore-closure is real!, my parents told me! Now Please help me, shes in desperate need! I know we're ex-friends, but if she is my ex-friend and not someone pranking, how should i try to help? I dont know what to do, since i'm a teen myself. I know what she has done is wrong, but is they're anyway to change it? i know most of you are adult woman, who have excellent advice, but i need help, and quick! PLEASE help me, PLEASE!!! ~need in desperate help~ -Paige- |

| Hi Paige, This is the kind of information that you need to share with your parents...immediately! Whether it is true or not...this is a person crying out for help. I hope all turns out well for your friend... Jo Ann ps. Paige, you mentioned you're a teenager...how old are you?

| I agree - you need your parents' help with this. It's a bad situation that you shouldn't try to resolve on your own. You probably won't like this advice but maybe try to follow it anyway? I hope you can work it out.

Hi, wow this is so much for you to take on your shoulders. First of all you seem to want to know if this is the truth, it very well could be, she sounds like she's really lost, and there are people that will take advantage of you when you are vulnerable. There's probably not much you can actually do. Just listening to her probably helps a lot, and so many people will judge her, and if you can do that it would help a lot. She should probably find out if she is pregnant, and since the protection didn't work, she also could have a sexually transmitted disease. First thing she should do, is tell an adult, she needs to go see a doctor. Many towns have planned parent associations that can offer advice and counseling if there are no adequate adults in her life. Have you told you mom about the situation? Perhaps you can talk to her about your friend. This is too much for you to handle alone. One thing that is helpful to learn is that you will meet lots of people over the years, and they might go through some horrible things, it's always good if they can talk to someone about it, but you can't let it hurt you. Some women are what they call "drama queens" and get themselves in horrible predicaments, just so that they can get sympathy from others, I'm not saying your friend is like this, but while you can be empathetic and try to understand what's she's going through, you can not let yourself get so emotionally worked up by it that you panic. Remember that everything is the same in your life, as it was before she gave you this news, so you don't have to be scared, and thank your lucky stars for having parents that have given you some guidance. You can sometimes learn as much in life from those who set a bad example, as well as those who set a good example. I'm sorry your friend is going through this, but please don't let it get YOU down. I'm sending prayers your way. You sound like a great friend!

| Wow as a teenager this is a lot to take on. Even as a young adult I would get the advise of someone wiser than myself. Being a nursing student, my thoughts go straight to "GO TO THE DOCTOR!" There are also other community outreach programs that are available for the family in these times of hardship. Things such as food stamps, health care, shelter, can be found for people going through hard times (most are more readily available to families). Telling you parents is the first step I would take. How are you receiving this information from your friend? Is she still in school? If your parents are unsure how to help, tell an advisor/dean/teacher/adult you trust what is going on. I hope someone is able to help you and your friend. |
