OOHHH que rico, Yes, I soo love it. There is a little ecuadorean restaurant that we go to here in miami. Love Llapingachos. Also LOVE pan de yuca. When we go down there I always have the maid teach me how to cook a new dish. I was there last year, We always go for xmas and new years. We spend new years at the beach in Salinas. What part do you go to? Si, yo hablo espanol. Usted?

Now that I am HUNGRY again...I would kill for some Carne asada y some arepas ....and some empanadas (colombian style)...CRAP!!!...I am going to have to go all the way to my old neighborhood or Jackson heights to get this kind of food!!!

aahhhhhhh que bien!!! si hablo español, mis padres quiseron que nosotras aprendendemos las dos idimoas.. el ingles y el español. necessito practicar mas mi grammatica, eso si todavia me falta un poco.
My parents made a house there in Guayaquil so thats where i spend most of my time.. ive been to Quito and i liked it a lot but when i went it was so WINDY!!
isnt it cool to be there in the winter!! its summer there ... 2 years ago on new years day i was at the beach sun tanning it was AWESOME!! mean while ppl here were in winter hahahahaha

I like so many things, but I would say a nice tender steak and a salad, (but not if I'm cooking it,) Only if we are going out. For some reason it always taste better in a resturant, when someone else is doing the work!!

I want the same for my children, we made the rule that my husband will speak to them in spanish and I will speak to them in english so they will be fluent with both. My grammer isn't the greatest either. I know I really loved going there while everyone was up to their eyeballs in snow when I used to live in Indiana. My husband's family lives in Guayaquil, in Samborondon - do you know that place? but they have their "winter house" in Salinas at the beach, and Montanita is the best, that's where my husband goes surfing, I love going there and sitting on the beach it is so nice. It was also cool when we went to the mitad del mundo and I stood in the northern hemisphere and my husband stood in the southern hemisphere. It was really cool. I know Quito is so windy. Have you been to Banos? It is sooo great! Have you taken Chicle to Ecuador yet? I was wondering for the next time we go I want to take Matise. Can't wait to talk more!!!

Ive been to Baños when i was really little .. dont remember it much...
i havent taken Chicle to ecuador im trying to figure out how i can but have him travel with him in the cabin .. so far every airline i called they told me that he will have to travel cargo and thats a HUGE NO NO FOR ME.
if you get any info on that plz pass it along .. ur lucky b/c its a closer plane ride to Ecuador from FL then from NYC lol

I love all kinds of food but my 2 fave dishes are:
1. steak with creamy spinach and goose fat fried potatoes with a dollop of bernaise sauce on the side and #2 is a Thai curry of shrimp, potato and tomatoes with rice noodles in a base of coconut milk with lemongrass and lots of cilantro. Both to me are heaven!

Hehe I'm gonna advertise a little...my favorite is a little resturant in McAlester, Oklahoma called Gia Comos...they are italian..but make the BEST ribeyes!!
Also my daddy is a cattle rancher..so any of his steaks are the best!!!

Hmmm. I have lots of favorites. I love chinese food. Love Pernil, Alcapurrias, Carne frita con Tostones. LOL...oh and let's not forget Pizza and big messy burgers! I'm getting hungry!!!
