| Harper's Island Did anyone follow the Harper's Island mini-series? The grand finale was on last night. I TIVO everything and rarely watch live TV. Occasionally that kicks me in the behind, like last night. TIVO recorded the first part, but last night was a 2-hour double show and I did not get the second and FINAL episode! At the end of the next to the last one, I was only semi-surpised at Wakefield's accomplice, Henry. But now I am eaten up with curiosity over who made it off the island. Any survivors? I always thought it might get down to only the little girl making it. Did Abby and Jimmy wind up together? You have to want love for a girl who loses both parents to a psycho killer. Will be grateful for a recap of the last hour of the summer series if anyone was watching! I know it was not the best of writing or acting, but it kept me entertained -- I am a sucker for a who-dun-it!

| Jimmy and Abby made it off the Island. Abby ended up killing Henry by putting a sword right through him! Henry killed Wakefield (his father) so he could be with Abby forever alone on the island. That was his plan from the beginning, and getting married was the only way he could think of to get Abby back to the Island. He planned on killing everyone off from the beginning! Wakefield thought that Henry was going to kill Abby, but he doublecrossed him. Henry was going to set up Jimmy for the murders.

| Apparently Abby's mother gave Henry up for adoption when he was born......but the condition was that the parents had to come to the island every summer. He spent time with Abby's family and he and Abby became the best of friends, not knowing that they were brother and sister. One summer when he had to leave, Abby whispered to him...."I wish you could stay, and we could be the only ones here forever!" They were little children at the time, but Henry never forgot it. Wakefield found out Henry was his son, shortly after he had committed the original murders of Abby's mom and others. He then "taught" his son how much fun it was to kill.......and they cooked up the scheme to kill everyone.

| Thanks for the update! I sometimes feel a little silly being so in to something like a TV mystery but when I followed it all these weeks and then missed the finale, it made me a little crazy! LOL! I'll have to watch to see if it comes out in a video collection. I would like to watch it again now that I know about Henry. I should have saved the TIVO recordings! Out of habit, I just delete when I am done watching them. Wonder if there will be a sequel? That little girl could grow up to be a psycho too. She sort of creeped me out. Abby and Jimmy could have kids and they could be in danger when they come back to the island....... course how could Abby ever be a sane person after everything she went through? And I say I don't watch soap operas! Ha! Make them a mystery and I will!

| I totally skipped to the end of this because I was afraid to see anything that would give it away. I was SO ticked last night. I sat down about 9:15 to start watching it (it comes on at 8:00 here and I had tivo'd it). About 9:30 a friend of mine texted me saying "I sure hope you're watching it" (meaning H.I. because we are the only fanatics at work). When I told her I had just started it, she said she'd been watching it since 8:00. That's when I realized that there was a second hour to it. Checked my tivo real quick just to find out that something one of my daughters set to record had bumped the second hour of H.I. UGH! I deleted her's and started recording again but now I've missed 30 minutes of the 2nd hour. The sound on my computer at home is so crappy that now I have to wait until I get to work and watch it at lunch on Monday. I did see though at the end of the first hour that it was Henry that was Wakefield's accomplice. THAT was a shocker. I've really liked this show. Will there be another season?? I guess I won't know until I get to watch the second hour.

| I found this site: Harper's Island - CBS.com that has full episodes to view! There is not an Episode 12 or 13 yet, but hopefuly they will add them now that they have aired. There was one other episode I missed during the season. I will have to figure which one and watch it too. Maybe these will help anyone else missing out on one of the shows. I don't get into any of the reality stuff so this is one of the first series type TV shows that I have really gotten hooked on in a long time.

| I did end up watching the final episode (the first 30 minutes) on the computer - on the CBS site. It wasn't there last night but it was later this morning. I about had my head to the CPU trying to hear it but I got it (I've really got to get some speakers for the desk or get a newer monitor with the speakers in it ). Then I watched the last 30 minutes on the tv. All I can say is WOW. Can't believe who was left alive in the end. Wonder if they'll do a second season. Don't know what it would be about though.

| I really LOVED the Harper's Island series! I wish that the networks would do more short series like this! There are so many scenarios they could come up with, I thought it was fun and interesting!

| I loved the series! Never did I think that Henry was with J.W ! But once it all happened it made sense. For awhile I thought JD was doing something but he was just well.... himself. Haha. I thought it was a very good series and it was really intresting. Something always happened when you never thought it would! Haha. Loved it.

| Thanks for the heads up that the last episode was on the website. Just got done watching it. Quite a story! I did not quite understand how the key to Jimmy's handcuffs's magically appeared so he could escape and come to Abbey's rescue. Ah well, didn't all have to make sense. After all, a whole island full of people getting killed off .....one.....by....one........? Maybe a little far fetched to start with. But I sure did enjoy the series! I hope they do come up with a sequel. I am still betting on that little girl, Madison, being some sort of psycho in the future. She really did creep me out.
