I understand not everyone has a debit card, but if you're are standing in line, the least they can do is start filling it out! (I don't mean you dogbert, I mean the other people, unless of course you do this too LOL)
My grandma still write checks too. But as soon as she gets in line she starts filling it out so she will be ready. I tell her over and over to get an ATM card but she is old school and thinks credit cards and debit cards are the "devil" I love my grandma

So, my brother is leaving for college on Thursday. We're really close, so I'm going to be sad. Very sad. and it drives me INSANE that people think that just because we're siblings, I'm glad he's leaving. People are like "You must be glad" "Congratulations" "Yay - now you get ____ to yourself." and it's like ...no, actually, I'm really upset. Thanks.

Tonight my pet peeve is run-on sentences where people use no punctuation whatsoever and just go on and on and besides not using any punctuation they also do not separate anything with paragraphs so all you see is just a bunch of words that gets kind of hard to read and pretty soon i just give up and think what the heck was all that typing about and why am i sitting here trying to read it and trying to figure it out when really i have other things i need to be doing anyway and yet here i sit on YT and i'm not getting anything done and then i end up getting annoyed with myself instead of that person who was just typing and typing a big long string of words and i didn't get any of it. Uh, yeah, that is my pet peeve for tonight.

The sad this is that that was still way easier to understand than most posts written in that style.

I have another pet peeve to add. My son is in 8th grade. He just started his football season. Mind you it's fundamental football.. I decided to be parent rep this year even though I was a little reluctant to do so. Now I remember why I was so reluctant. Some of those parents are let's just say plain and simple, stupid. They stick in their cliques, and think their kids are the best athletes on the planet. It's all so high school. They stir up drama with as many team parents as they can instead of being supportive. They like to come across like they know it all and want to tell the people who volunteered their time how to do everything. They don't sign up for much, I guess so they can sit in their own little huddle together. One of the ladies is mad because her husband didn't get to coach the team after trying to patition the current coach (for 8 years) out of the non-paying job. My son had her husband for coach for 2 years and hated football. After moving to varsity he's now come to love the game. So many parents begged the coach we have now to please stay as they didn't want the other one. This lady and her husband try to do all of this so they can make their own kid a star. Why can't some of them cut the umbilical chord and if the kid has talent it will shine. By the time they are 13,14-15 years old they need your encourgment and support but not your bullying to keep them in the spotlight.
Ok, I've rambled enough. I'm just very disappointed in how some of these grown ups behave. We have good support too. Just aggravating when you have a certain group that puts their own spin on things to make all look bad when they don't get their way.

Okay, my daughter just reminded me of another...because she's doing it now!!!!

I hate when people chew with their mouths open. But, I really really hate when they chew hard crunchy loud annoying stuff with mouths open. Close your mouth so it doesn't sound so loud, sheesh!

We don't use any cards it's cash or check (well one for travel/emergency), once you've had one stolen you learn to hate them. I do try to write out everything I can and have ID out by the time I am being checked out. I have written checks at the end of the belt, on the handle of the shopping cart, etc. But if I can't find a place to write or the person behind me looks over my shoulder I won't. If the place has carts I always put it behind me in line, that allows me space. A couple times someone behind me has walked right up to the spot to pay along with me and I just look at them and say Oh are you paying for mine too? Then they get a look on their face and step back.

I agree with this. Or when the coach is a parent of one of the kids on the team and that kid never gets benched, but everyone else gets bench time.

Parents need to remember it's a GAME. Some parents need to be banned from their kids games. I have also seen young teen refs at baseball games take terrible abuse from parents.

HaHa I about went bizerk-o-mode on this lady the other day at Taco Bell. I was waiting to order and was giving the people in front of me ordering at least a good 3 feet of space ( I like my space as well ). This lady was looking up at the menu and I swear to you I could have elbowed her in the face without reaching. I HATE HATE HATE when people are all up in your personal space. I have to have personal space. Call me crazy but I call it my "bubble" if you pop it I will let you know one way or another LOL
