Pet Peeves- whats yours??

I def agree with your number 9, lildaysha. I cant remember if I have already posted that one or not. UGH people like look at you coming towards them and even tho they are blocking the whole walkway, you STILL have to say excuse me huh.

I will add one more. When people confuse different spelling of the same word. At the local fast food mexican food restaurant here in town, the had little signs on the table saying something about FLOWER tortillas. lol ugh

1. "inside jokes"
2. gum smacking
3.people who cut in front of you at a buffet! There is a LINE people.....
4.people using north south east and west as only directional signals (sometimes I get it...sometimes not so much )
5.when my phone rings and both my kids yell "PHONE" - helpful,yes....but still annoying
6.when people refer to themselves in the 3rd party!
7. obnoxiously strong perfume
8 people who fart on elevators or planes !!!
9. people who don't tip
10 people who won't try new foods! If you go to a restaurant in mexico ~ PLEASE don't get a CHEESEBURGER at McDonalds afterwards cuz they had nothing you LIKED!!!

1. Men at work that talk about how ugly or fat some lady is, then comes the company christmas party and their wife is everything they talk crap about! Geesh, looks arent everything a-holes!
2. People who don't know how to say thank you. I have opened a door 2 times now for this lady in my building bc she had a baby in a stroller and she didn't so much as flash me a smile. I am SLAMMING the door in her face next time... baby or no baby!
3. People you bump into you at stores, in lines, in hallways. Give me my personal space dang it!
4. Gum smackers and people the make noise for no reason (i.e. click pens, tap fingers, giggle leg )
5. Calling customer service for an AMERICAN company and getting a foreigner on the other end that I can barely understand.
6. Family's on welfare that refuse to get jobs and yet Mommy and Daddy have nice clothes and the mom always has her nails and hair done , and goes tanning, but the kids look like rag dolls.
7. People that still write checks in long long lines... C'mon people its 2009!!
8. "One-uppers"
9. Sunday Drivers
10. How politics has become a big "race card" rally instead of worrying about the real issues.......................

When you tell a story and the ONE person in the group has to tell something better. Like say I said " Yeah I went and bought a $200 coach purse today." The "one-upper" would go " Oh really?? I bought this $400 Gucci purse yesterday".. basically the people that try to make it seem like they have better things, experiences and lives than you. LOL

#7.....I'll gladly stop writing checks in long lines when hubby let's me have a debit card. In otherwords some of us don't have a choice.

Well it's not really the fact of writing any check, it's that some people wait until they are in the front of the line, and AFTER they've been told the total, THEN they finally take out the check book, and then go "What's the date?"

I understand not everyone has a debit card, but if you're are standing in line, the least they can do is start filling it out! (I don't mean you dogbert, I mean the other people, unless of course you do this too LOL)

Yea about the check thing... sometimes people don't WANT cards... like my grandparents are in their mid 80's and are very self sufficient (heck, they take care of 15 acres by themselves), but they just don't want to be bothered with technology. They don't have a computer or a DVD player or an MP3 player or even an ATM card, let alone a debit card, so they do use checks or cash. They do have a cell phone, but that took them years of convincing to get and they barely use it.
