When you tell a story and the ONE person in the group has to tell something better. Like say I said " Yeah I went and bought a $200 coach purse today." The "one-upper" would go " Oh really?? I bought this
$400 Gucci purse yesterday".. basically the people that try to make it seem like they have better things, experiences and lives than you. LOL
