Pet Peeves- whats yours??

My baby girls have all had super fine hair that all matts up the second they get in a carseat too, so that has always made that challenging, but you learn to carry a brush and utilize wet wipes to calm it down. There is no need to show up to someone's house with a "kool aid mustache" koolaid stained clothes, arms, and legs, and matted hair .

I have a friend who is a nurse and one thing she learned right away is that what is normal, healthy and ok to us is different to someone else. They honestly see nothing wrong with the way they live or how their kids look.

Another pet peeve: People that don't pickup their dog's poop when they take them for a walk.

Oh they honestly don't see anything wrong with it either. I don't understand it because cleanliness shouldn't be a lifestyle choice, it should just be part of everyday life you would think. Both of their daughters' teeth are rotten too. One would have to be missing something upstairs to think it's ok for your kids to never brush their teeth and live off mt dew and skittles.

Oh, I have another one - when people who have no idea what they are talking about start lecturing you on how to calm your dog down. No, Thor will not magically fall in love with your boxer if I put him down on the ground and let them meet. No, he is not barking because he really wants to play with your rotweilers. No, it will not help him if you let your german shepard rush over to greet him because "that is the only way he'll learn." HE IS SCARED OF BIG DOGS. I'm sure your dog is lovely, but please trust me and leave my neurotic little monster alone!

Why do all the d*uchebags in all of OC have to come into MY store! Any suggestions from you all as to what to say to rude/stupid/offensive questions? These people know they are being rude/stupid/offensive, but just want to see how much sh*t i will take from them. I want to RYNO them all but I still have to be civil, which sucks. What can I say to make them shut up and make me look smart?

Put up a sign (if you don't already) that says 'We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone' & when d*uchebags bug...don't say anything & point to the sign w/your middle finger. lol

I DO have a sign like that!!! The problem is, it seems like no one around here can read signs. Or maybe they think they are too good to read.

I have not one, but TWO signs on two sides of my Zippo lighter display case that says "DO NOT TURN THE CASE. THERE'S NOTHING ON THE OTHER SIDE". What is the first thing they ask? "How do I turn it?"

I have another case that is dark without the light being on, but since business is slow, i don't want the light on all the time. So I have a sign that says "If it's too dark, plug in the cord. UNPLUG IT AFTER YOU'RE DONE." What do they say? "I can't see anything, it's too dark" IF, and I say IF, they see the sign, and the plug without my help, clearly they have read the sign then, yes? But they NEVER unplug it. I always have to go back over there and unplug it myself.

Another sign I have sitting on top of my register that says "No checks please" Of course, they ask "Can I write a check?" Who even writes checks anymore????

Sorry I am going off so much right now, but I have not sold anything today, and have had to put up with a lot of crap. More than usual for a Monday.

If the kids are not school age yet that may change once they start school. I feel bad for them having bad teeth too. How do they get away with that when they have Dr appts?

I always use cash or checks I do not use credit or debit cards.
