I always feel like with us having so many kids that I have to exceed people's expectations so they don't think bad things about us, so I always make sure my girls look super cute and they are all in nice clothes and cleaned up. My baby girls have all had super fine hair that all matts up the second they get in a carseat too, so that has always made that challenging, but you learn to carry a brush and utilize wet wipes to calm it down. There is no need to show up to someone's house with a "kool aid mustache" koolaid stained clothes, arms, and legs, and matted hair .
I have a friend who is a nurse and one thing she learned right away is that what is normal, healthy and ok to us is different to someone else. They honestly see nothing wrong with the way they live or how their kids look.
