![]() The Amazon website made me buy a Kindle. That's what I get for being on the Internet! If I had managed to avoid it, I probably never would have heard of it and saved myself hundreds of dollars. ![]() The Apple app for the Kindle is such a great idea for Amazon. The only downside with it is that the battery of the iPod drains sooo quickly (especially compared to the Kindle itself). But you can just save so much money by avoiding buying the Kindle (not to mention the Kindle is only for reading books while the iPod has so many uses) that it's definitely a great alternative. Now withe the money you've saved you can buy some more yorkie treats and toys!

The Kindle is good because you don't have to charge the battery as much, but the iPod is sturdier (less likely to break without a case) and cheaper and multipurposed and in colour. The thing some people don't like about the iPod application is that the touch screen causes a glare. Also, the Kindle has that ink technology so your eyes don't get tired from staring at it for long periods of time (it's like you're really reading a book). A computer and iPod don't have that. If I knew about the iPod application before I'd bought my Kindle, I definitely would have seen if I liked it there first.
