| That was one of my concerns because now they are going to think its ok for a man to do that to them if she goes back to him and thats not right.

| He would not be welcomed in my home if I were her family. Her dad should have a "nice manly" chat with him to stay away from his daughter. |

| I can sympathize with her based on the emotions she must be going through with this whirlwind of what has happened, but I truly thought that at the very least she'd stay away from him while he got help. I do believe people can change, but to jump right back into their relationship after what went down that night isn't emotionally constructive for either of them (especially her). I just really feel like she needed to step away from that whole situation. If down the line he genuinely reformed and they found their way back to each other after they both had time to heal and grow, I don't think anyone would fault them for that -- but right now it's totally inappropriate IMO. |

Mom to Marty & Maddie Donating Member | It is common knowledge among those working in shelters or with abused women that it takes an average of seven times before an abused woman leaves for good. Although it would be really nice if this girl could be a role model for other abused women and girls, it is a bit unfair (in my opinion) to expect her leaving him to be easier just because she's famous. I truly hope she can leave, for herself and others, but I won't judge her for not being able to completely break away yet. I wish it was that easy. |

I agree with this, its just way too soon. And with the police report coming out with the details of what really happened, it really is just sickening. She definitly has not had time to really think about how this is going to affect her life and maybe even her career. They really need time apart, she needs time to heal, and he really needs to get some help. Hopefully maybe he will do some jail time and that will give him a reality check for real.

| It is now rumored that they will be writing a book and doing interviews together about the situation and that some kind of clause was created that if he ever did anything else to her she will be paid $10 million from Mr. Brown. If it is true all I have to say is "whatever........" I personally think he is just using her. He knows that she would have a hard time walking away from him, so he got back with her to make himself look good in court and to convince her not to cooperate and press charges. It was said that he alerted the paparazzi that they would be reconciling in Miami. |

| I agree, he needs some consequenses, significant ones too, not just a slap on the wrist.

| I agree! I hope that the authorities do the right thing and have him serve time. Honestly I think that would be the best thing for Rihanna -- to give her distance from him, IMO. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Hey, I feel everyone frustration on this topic. I also know from growing up in a home where my mom was abused by my dad that low self esteem has something to do with why people that are battered stay. The idea that they believe that they love one another is another reason. I also feel that no matter what may have happen he had no right to put his hands on her but, with that said according to media speculations he only reacted to her slapping him while he was driving only difference is that he didnt call the police on her or had visible marks. I hope for both their sake they seek help and they learn to keep their hands to themselves.

YT Addict | I heard that she found out she was pregnant and when the fight happened she had not had the chance to tell him. i wonder if them getting back to gether has anything to do with that. I also heard that they got married at P. Diddys house last week. While I do not in any way think that any man should be hitting a female. But it would make sense to that they would give it another try if she is pregnant

Senior Yorkie Talker | If that is the case like i told my husband they did it so that she cant be forced to testify against him in court should it go to trial. Although, I saw on tmz some big shot say that they cant use that as a loop hole but, I believe if she refuses they cant force her because she is his spouse
