I think Danny is the second best of the top 5. Adam will always be my favorite. The contestants get to choose their lighting, arrangements and props (staircase) so I don't fault him for being creative. I give him kudo's for keeping me entertained. Yes, I agree he could leave out the power notes once in a while, but he has yet to finish a song that I didn't want to hear more. I hope Matt leaves tonight. I just don't understand what the judges see in him.

I was confused by Simon's critique of Allison too, I thought she sounded wonderful in this song, and it seems he keeps criticizing her personality. I'm never sure if he says those things so that it will motivate her fans to vote. I think his comment about Adam on the stairs, was just to say it was a great entrance, and the best he'd seen on Idol. He had a swagger to his walk, and it's not easy to do that on stairs. I don't think he's saying it's in the bag for Adam. While he's still my favorite, I will be surprised if he wins.

That could very well be. Matt is so cute and nice and he really did try alot harder than some but Simon had to hear his pitchieness (just made up a new word) I'm not the least bit worried about Kris tonight (sorry Lou)

I've got my radar up on Simon right now. I'm wondering if he is playing some kind of game and disagreeing with the other judges. He disagreed with all three of them twice last night. I have never seen him do that before.

Maybe Simon is just trying to justify his using the "save" on Matt. That was as ridiculous as all the praise he continues to shower him with.
I thought Danny had a fantastic performance last night, along with Allison and yes, I still love listening to Adam. Now that it's getting down to the wire, I've finally started voting..lol Amazed how much easier it was to call than it has been in the past.

I loved Danny last night!

Adam is just starting to bother me! He changes every song, but he changes it with the same techniques and it's just getting so old with me! The tongue thing drives me crazy! I think he's so talented, but I just think he does the same thing over and over!

Well he said it means opposite of dry, lol, I had no idea what he meant. "All wet," as in wrong, or "wet behind the ears", as in not experienced? Maybe it was lost in translation?

You know, this is such a good group. Although I swore I would never watch Idol again after Jennifer Hudson was voted off. Dang. She was and still is such a great singer...I do like Danny and Adam. I do like Allison but hate her hair....She needs to change her image. I feel this is what happened to Jennifer Hudson...

Speaking of Allison's image. I agree that she needs to change her hair. Tone down the color and soften it up a little but you have to admit the dress she wore last night was really beautiful and it fit her perfectly. She looked good and her hair was styled nicely.

I think many of his fans love this uniqueness about him. I don't think it's the same week after week; his performances are some of the freshest I've seen. I think he would have more of a chance of winning if he appealed to the masses, but I'm glad he has chosen to do what he wants, and I love it.

I agree. I even agree with your earlier post about being surprised if Adam, in fact, manages to win the competition. Chances are the "safe" and "generic" (with all the love and zero intention of insulting any of the contestants and past winners in mind) ones will come out on top because of the wider appeal. AI's first album releases for their signed artists always seem to be generically safe recordings too. I look forward to Adam signing under a different label in future but I will support his first album release. As much as I'd love for him to come out on top, I think I might prefer that he doesn't get tied down by AI for being the final winner. He doesn't need the million or whatever it is now for coming out first. He just needed this opportunity for exposure and he hasn't wasted it.
