YT Cookbooks???

lol I know I didnt buy a book, Just thought since I was close and they needed help, I offered to pick them up and send them to Administration.

It's ok to try to make me sound like a bad person, doesn't hurt my feeling at all. I was only asking questions to you that everyone else plus myself is feeling and wondering.

So they will send you $40.00 and you will send the rest of the books right?

For the record. Parker was peeing all over the house/ It was either my hubby go or Parker I didn't really have a choice in the matter. Second of all giving Maddie to Bob and Jane was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but the joy they get from her and the progress Jane has made, makes it all worth it. Sometimes the right thing to do can be one of the hardest!

THEN SHE SAID THIS:

I just sent Sandy a message asking for ADMINS addy, I'm just going to send them to him and he can do what he wants with them.

SO I GUESS ITS GOOD THAT YT WILL BE GETTING THE COOKBOOKS BACK IF SHE ACTUALLY SEND THEM. DIDNT MEAN FOR IT TO BE A CATTY WORDS EXCHANGE, BUT AT LEAST HOPEFULLY THE COOKBOOKS WILL BE BACK.

First off Denise - the fact that you are willing to put everything out there - copy & paste all of this - even when she tries to trash you. I now know even more about your high character! Some people would not want someone else's accusations out there - but you are above that. I appreciate your integrity.

I will seriously pray that she does follow through with contacting admin - then that she also follows thru in sending the books to the right person & getting the money due to YT to admin

Honestly-I really thought more of Missy then this. Denise-God Bless you for going above & beyond, putting yourself out there for all to read-you didn't have to do that but you did. Just goes to show what kind of person you really are. Don't you ever feel bad about decisions you had to make, I am sure they were extremely difficult and no one should sit in judgement.

As far as Missy is concerned she has just emailed me for Admins addy and I will contact them to relay back to her. Sorry I am just responding, hubby had surgery to his finger that was smashed at work the other day and I have been out of contact.

Personally, if it were up to me, she could keep the remaining books and we could just get together and do another printing. Why send her another dollar?

I didn't want to make any judgments until I heard her side of the story. This whole thing is so sad. The cookbook was an effort that she could have been proud of, and it now it is something that she should be ashamed of. I'm not sure how much she made from it, but what's wrong with people that they would rather have a coach purse, than a good reputation? We get our true self-esteem through our accomplishments, not by how we look, or what we own.

On the second...it's far from the first time money has been given to someone and members were later shocked to learn it wasn't used as intended

I am seriously amazed at how Missy reacted to Denise.
Denise is probably one of the kindest, most generous people I have ever known.

First...Denise rehomed Parker and Maddie, she did NOT recieve money for a product and then not deliver the product or the funds to the customer.
She did not say that she was going to donate a portion of Parker or Maddie to YT. (that's ridiculous I know, but come on Missy!)

If Missy was having such bad financial problems,(she stated she was going to lose her house at one point) then why would she be looking for Coach purses, tanning, going to the Y, sending her daughter to vb camp, etc. If it is that bad of a financial problem, you don't do any of those things, even with a discount. Discount is money off, it is not FREE, you still have to pay for your luxury.

I really don't even know how she can compare what she has done to Denise rehoming two dogs.. it's like comparing stealing from people who trusted you to giving help to a sick friend...there is no comparison.

Why wouldnt she let Denise pick up the cookbooks?? They aren't hers. She has been paid for all of them and not sent any monies to YT like she said she would. Not to mention the clothing she took money for and then didnt make the clothes or send money back.

What really bothers me too is that she has one of my babies. I know she is taking care of her well, but it really saddens me that she would do this to a lot of people. I trusted her with one of my babies, and then she pulls this stunt and tries to put blame on anyone but accepting the blame herself and making it right.

Well looks like someone who is on YT is telling Missy what everyone is saying on here, but maybe not exactly what they are saying. Sounds like they may be twisting it a bit.

I havent said anything that I havent told Missy myself.

Too bad all this didnt get taken care of the way it should have to begin with and Missy would still be on YT and everyone would have their cookbooks and clothes and everything would be everything.

Denise, thank you for all of your hard work towards retrieving the cookbooks.

I believe that the cookbooks belong to YT, and that YT or YTers should not have to pay a ransome to get them. Missy stated in her initial threads that this was a fundraiser for YT and any books and profits belong to YT. I sincerely hope that ADMIN contacts an attorney and files charges. Since the books have been mailed and internet has been involved via ebay then I do believe this incident could be considered criminal. Maybe some quiet time in a small room would help Missy get her priorities right.

If she wouldn't mail the books to Sandy using some of the funds that raised from selling the books, what makes us believe that she would mail them to Denise if we send her the ransome of $5.00 per book that she is demanding.

I say, let her keep the books, contact an attorney AND then let's just do a reprint of the cookbook and make it available to all who would like to have one.
