I have been reading but hasn't posted anything. I wanted a YT cookbook myself very much but the price was a little bit out of league for me and to have to send it to Canada. I would however buy one if there is a reprint but this time, the money has to go to YT.

Can't believe how someone could do this and feel okay with it.

Well finally got an answer back to if I could come get the cookbooks from here.

Here is her answer:

No, but if you let me know who wants them, I'll send them.

Here is what I put back

How many do you have left, and why wont you let me come get them?

Really wanted to put, well we don't really trust you to send them out after everything? but I didnt. (maybe I should have) Just first wanted to see how many she had left first.

Im not surprised she didnt give them to you. I know she sold one on ebay so thats probably what she is planning to do with the rest

WOW!!!

I only remember the books being about $20 when I bought it. I wonder if we could scrap together and buy the rest of the books. However I dont know how many of them would sell at $30

WOW!!!

That is just disgusting and pathetic. She has gotten all that she should from that being as she kept the previous profits. I think it's only right that she just surrender the remaining books and let those profits fully go to YT as they were originally intended.

She seems to think that someone owes her something. She gave to YT because she could and she wanted to. I really have a problem with people that give and then want to talk smack about it. You give because your blessed and can do it not because you want something in return or praise for it. She acts like she gave an arm and a leg.

All we would have to give Missy is $40 for the books then we could have the books sent to Admin then he could sell them for whatever price he wanted to. I know there are people who really want the books and I would be willing to go in on getting them

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. But if anyone goes & gets the books - they also need to tell her she needs to have a money order ready at the same time for the full amount to be donated to YT. So the money can get to YT

I would just see if we can give her the $5 a book then let admin sell them for the full price. I wonder if she would let us do that?

Wow...I am really surprised by your response. Ok. First of all you have made a ton on the cookbooks regardless of what you have said. You almost left someone getting suck with the big bill from the publishing company, The cost of the cookbook is around $7.00. You were selling them for $21.00 You still continued to say your were loosing on shipping. You shipped someone on there 4-6 books and shipping was around $6.00. You sold on ebay for $10.00 a book and $4.00 shipping. Now you want them to pay you $30.00 Why in the heck $30??????? You've already made enough off the book!!!

What makes us think you are going to mail the remaining $25.00 per book to YT. As to date you have not mailed any of the profits to them.

Why are you mad at YT. When you decided to donate to someone, YT or a certain cause that was your decision. You are not the only one on there that has donated. You were the one who wanted to do the Fund Raiser. (it appears to be a fund raiser for yourself)

I'm sorry Missy, I know we used to be friends, but I don't see where you get off doing people wrong and not having any feelings of making it better. You say you are hurting for money and such, but clearly on here you've been working out at the Y, tanning, shopping on ebay, looking for a coach purse, etc. What you do with your money is your business, but don't come on YT and make it public, want everyone to feel bad, send you even more money, then go shopping. Just isn't right.

Yes we all make mistakes in life, Its how we handle our mistakes and how we learn from them that makes the difference. What you are doing is clearly wrong and I dont know how you sleep at night.

For the record. Parker was peeing all over the house/ It was either my hubby go or Parker I didn't really have a choice in the matter. Second of all giving Maddie to Bob and Jane was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but the joy they get from her and the progress Jane has made, makes it all worth it. Sometimes the right thing to do can be one of the hardest!

THEN SHE SAID THIS:

I just sent Sandy a message asking for ADMINS addy, I'm just going to send them to him and he can do what he wants with them.

SO I GUESS ITS GOOD THAT YT WILL BE GETTING THE COOKBOOKS BACK IF SHE ACTUALLY SEND THEM. DIDNT MEAN FOR IT TO BE A CATTY WORDS EXCHANGE, BUT AT LEAST HOPEFULLY THE COOKBOOKS WILL BE BACK.
