I'm *so* excited for Tuesday hahaha. I'm going to beg and plead with my principal to let it be an option for students to go into the media center to watch it on TV. I don't think we should be required to watch it, but I definitely think it should be available if we want to.

Anyone know what time it is supposed to be on TV??? I have been trying to find out but all the websites show the itinerary for the whole day but not the TV air times.
I hope I'll be home when it's on!

Yes , We live about an hour away depending on whose driving . My dh use to work in D.C. and it was easy ( for the most part) getting in but coming home he was always stuck in loads of traffic.

We still love to go though and visit the museums and just walk around. My sons last birthday party was there. It was fun. Our kids love it and there is always something new to do.

But there is no way I would even try to get up there for the Inauguration. I will stay home and watch it

^That's awesome!! I've only been to DC once, didn't do much while I was there (and I was really young, so I don't remember it well). But I'm hoping to go back soon!

I'm not positive what the exact airing times are, but he is sworn in at 12 noon (on the east coast). So I'm betting that part would be on TV.

My best friend and I decided that we're going to ask our principal about giving students the opportunity to watch it. I *really* hope he goes for it.

Of course we live in the D.C. metro area, but the kids here get off Monday AND Tuesday. Lucky them. We never got off for an inauguration!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure. They would normally mention something like that, and there's been no word of it.

I did send an email to my principal though, so maybe it'll work out.

I'm thinking about going....still thinking...I know I don't have much time to make up my mind. Plan is to leave bright & early to get the Metro. We're hitting the parade and whatever else we can. The Lincoln Memorial Concert yesterday was a test of just a smidge of what tomorrow is going to be like so I expect it to be crazy but a good crazy... I can't wait!!!! I'll have my thermos & Ugg boots, hat, scarf, throw blankey, etc. and my son will be a minature me. Wish us luck!
