I gave him a chance by listening to all of his speeches and reading on his own website. He stands for pretty much everything I believe is immoral and wrong. He had his chance. Unless he does a 180.....I won't change my mind.

You're right. There are two sides and not everyone is always going to be happy. I did vote for Obama, but because I thought he was the best man for the job, JMO. Some of McCain's ideas scared me... like his health care plan. I wasn't old enough when Bush was elected, but between the both of those weirdos I would have chosen Bush. The point is, what's done is done and we just have to all pull together as americans. They don't called us the UNITED states for nothing.

I think a lot of people are excited because he is the first black president. I don't care if he's black, white, purple, pink, blue, or green. I care about what he can do for the country.

You are correct! You are completely within your right to state how you feel about it, love it or hate it. Everyone has that same right.

I was just going to say that I agree. When I seen the Farewell Bush thread, and that someone had commented that it wasn't meant to be a political thread, I chuckled. How can it not be political if its about a politician
