Yep, shoelace knot! Love it.

Also, Trish told me that the shoelace knot comes untied too easy. I washed this AND dried it after I finished it and it's still holding together.

Trish??? Maybe she is tying it the way you tie your shoes..hehe.. I would think it would come apart if tied this way. That's why I had to ask how the shoelace tie worked. If you are crossing over and then tying into a knot then I don't see how it really could come apart. But I have to try this..

shoelace knot is just like a double knot right? i tied my strawberry shortcake one that way and its okay for now. its a 2 yard one and doing the balloon knots was gonna take forever. riley and madison like to chew on the fringe a lot & i'm hoping the knots dont get loose after a while.
