| ![]() Thank you from me also, for your post. I have a best friend. I thought other friends in the past were "best friends" but this last one, I swear is the Bestest of all. She is a total animal lover, and it is not all that at all... but we have alot in common. I just in the past 5 months had to move cross-country, away from her. The move about killed me, but the possibliity of lost friendship would kill me more... I hope the distance does not diminish our friendship. We stay in touch. But its nothing like "being there". Friends are indeed the Family We Choose, and I intend fully to say "I love You" at the end of every call from now on, like one of our YT members said prior. Thank you for your post. ![]() |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() A true friend is much like a marriage relationship, and unfortunately, many people see others as disposable, it easier to find a new friend then deal with the situation. I heard this line the other day from the movie, How to Make an American Quilt, and thought it was wonderful, and it applies to friends as well. Quote:

| ![]() Thank you for this post Donna. I couldn't agree more. I have a person I have known since I was 6 years old (I'm 27 now) and we have been through everything and were always there for one another until we went to high school and then she began to change. We are no longer close friends because of many things she did to me (the biggest being cheating on her husband with my boyfriend while I was at Ole Miss). I learned my lesson from her and now my best friend is honestly the BEST!! She is always there for me and while we fight and say things we regret it is never to the point to where I would end that friendship. She is truly like a sister to me! ![]()
