| Question for eBay sellers..... So, I'm on eBay and I find something I like but the seller only takes PayPal. Well, I won't use PayPal so I email and ask if they would accept a postal money order. The reply I got was surprising...she said "We can accept money orders until Ebay stops letting sellers do that in January." What does that mean? Has there been an announcement regarding payment options changing? I just thought it was a strange reply. |

| Ebay is going ALL Paypal very soon. That will be the only payment allowed. You should probably set up a paypal account if you want now if you want to buy off ebay in the future. A lot of sellers only accept verified(or confirmed) paypal accounts too.

| I've been with eBay since their beginning. If they go all PayPal I will no longer buy or sell there...I hate PayPal and refuse to use it...so do a lot of other people. |

| I think a move like this will really hurt their business. I spend quite a bit on eBay but I guess now I'll spend it at auctions and antique malls. |

| I think eBay and PayPal are some how affiliated. Sister companies, maybe?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | eBay bought Paypal awhile back. Personally I love paypal. Both as a seller and a buyer. Making a trip to get a money order was a pain...and waiting for your check to clear...took forever too.

| I really don't think it will hurt their business at all. More use paypal than those that don't, I think. I am glad they are going all paypal, I hate when I find something I really, really want, and they don't accept paypal. I wish everyone accepted paypal, I think that is one of the safest ways to pay for things on the net. I've had a few ebay sellers try to rip me off, and paypal got my money back for me every time. If you don't mind me asking, how come you hate them so much? Just curious.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | The only bad experience I ever had on eBay was with a seller who did not accept paypal. Afterward I knew why...I'm certain she'd had disputes filed against her. And no she did not refund my money either.

I love paypal too and I'm glad to see some of the other merchants accepting it now. I bought from Ralph Lauren the other day and was able to go through paypal. LOL....of course let me get ripped off once and not get reimbursed and I'll probably sing a different tune
