I have to say that at this point I'm a little shocked and disappointed that Admin has not stepped in and invoked the same rules here as they have on others who've done the same thing in the past.

That is one thing about this site that I always really liked--the fact that scammers were always dealt with thus protecting the members here.

I'm hoping she will come back and make an effort to do things right. I don't think Missy is a scammer...as I don't think she intentionally took orders with the forethought to not deliver the product. I feel terrible for all involved.

What do you think admin should do, if they suspend her membership how would she come back and answer this thread? We don't seem to have all the facts yet. I realize there was one person who had problems with her order in July. There is a another thread going on asking for people who have not gotten their merchandise and it hasn't had any replies except for the vendors who are willing to help out. Let's not become a hanging party until all the facts are in. I do believe there is a big difference between someone who is actually trying to scam people and a person who has been hit with financial difficulties, and can't see herself clear right now. For all we know, she might make good on this, shouldn't we give her a chance?

I think that she should be given a chance to make things right too...but she started this thread 3 weeks ago and has made no effort to contact those still waiting for their orders to be fulfilled or suggested that she has any sort of plan to make the situation right. I don't she intended for it to get as bad as it has, but the result is the same, intentional or not. At what point do you consider that it has been "ample time" for her to sort out and correct the situation, especially given the fact that people seem to have been having problems long before this thread came about.

Don't take this the wrong way but how do you know if she has contacted these people or not. Are you one of them? I know that may come off as being a smart butt, but lets give her a chance. The only ones I see posting are people that she doesn't owe things too. I could be wrong, but last time I looked on the other thread no one had said she owed them anything yet. So can we all take a deep breath and give her another chance to get back on and respond.

I believe that if you read the first post, Missy was the one who admitted outright that she couldn't fulfill or refund the orders. I think everyone here, myself included, is willing to give her a chance and would love to see the situation rectified....but no updates or in 3 weeks....!? It doesn't matter if she owes things to those posting or not. She didn't limit her post to only those who've ordered from her, I believe it addressed EVERYONE on YT. Everyone has a right to be upset and concerned over anyone conducting business on YT this way.

Well apparently I upset you BamaFan, and that really wasn't my intent, I just think she should be given a chance, yes three weeks seems like a long time, but a couple more weeks for her to come back on to update us isn't going to hurt, and people are volunteering to help out the ones that didn't get there stuff, Yes everyone on here has rights, but I think enough has been said about it, until she comes back who knows what is going on, I did read her first post, and she did admit it but its the ones that she didn't get there stuff should be upset more than anyone, she isn't scamming anyone, and trust me I have been caught up in most of the scams here and yes I worry about people doing business on here but most are good honest people.

LOL...you didn't upset me. I'm not upset at all.

I've been caught up in scams here too and ordered and paid for things from members who were eventually dealt with. What upsets me is to see it happen to anyone here on YT. Everyone has felt the burden of the state of the economy lately, not just one person. Even so, I couldn't fathom putting my own troubles before my obligations to others when they are likely in no better position than myself. It's just wrong. That is what upsets me. The opportunity to come back and make things right in this situation is wide open for Missy. It's up to her to take it. Until then, there will be a lot of dissatisfied members.

I am speaking up as one who has not been negitively affected by this situation with Missy. So please read this with that understanding and with an open heart and mind.....

1. I am very confident that Admin & Moderators and monitoring this situation closley and protecting all of us from any harm as far as Missy trying to sell on this board again until this is rectified.

2. At this point, it doesn't matter if Missy is banned or not. Her account is being montiored and if she really wanted to come back, she can access as a guest and at this point, she probably has no desire to post on the boards.

3. There are many generous people rallying to help out this situation. Those that step forward will be taken care of...no worries!

4. Missy came here (which she didn't have to do) and explained her situation, apologized and is now most likely working on bouncing back from this, who knows. Only Missy and God knows and at this point she is accountable to him not us.

So, lets just close this thread. We know now how eveyone feels about this situation so there is no need to "beat a dead horse!" Let those who are in charge of monitoring this board do their job without judgement or pressure to act and enjoy this great forum of friends and knowledgable people.

I do appreciate everyones opinions, whether it is in agreement with my own views or not.

We have been monitoring this situation. However, as of today, we have yet to receive one complaint from a member regarding products paid for and not received from yougetthesmiles. It is completely against YorkieTalk rules to sell items and not ship them, but we do give members a chance to rectify the situation if this does happen.

However, as we do not know who has ordered from this member and not received goods purchased, there is nothing for us to look into at this point. If you have ordered a product and not received it, we would suggest filing a complaint with your credit card company, your bank, the US Postal Service (for mail fraud), and with Paypal as well if the time limit for filing a complaint has not expired.

We suggest members file complaints with the above if they have not received their purchases within 30 days.

I'm not a scammer and I can not believe some would say that. Do you realize how much money I have given to this site and YT members?? OMG tons and tons of money. There were times when I had $50 left to my name and if someone needed money on here I would give what I could give to help.

One thing you all need to know is I only had about 4 orders that I owe people, it's not like it's 20 orders. I know that don't make it right but I WILL refund them as soon as I can.

To the members who truly care for me and know that I am a GOOD person, god bless you for sticking by me and supporting me.

To the few members who I owe money to, you will get it!

I have about 10 or so cookbooks left and I will be shipping them to Sandy and she will sell the remaining books and send the money to YT.
