| Thanks everyone for all your comments. There are lots of good ideas here. I would like to know why he behaved that way, but we don't have the best communication skills. Hopefully I can get it out of him. I'm still not gonna do anything about it for a few more days. I wanna see how he reacts. Last night when it all happened I told him to just not talk to me about it because I needed to cool down, and today he wouldn't talk to me at all (which was ok with me because all of my finals are tomorrow ). I can tell he feels bad, but I want him to SAY he is sorry, not just act remorseful. We shall see...

Big difference from socks and underwear to well...more expensive gifts. If you're boyfriend is the same it could be that gifts make him uncomfortable. I can say that I really feel uncomfortable because my roommates boyfriends are all getting at least 3 presents and my boyfriend will be lucky to get one (I'm saving up for a puppy ) to me it's like my boyfriend isn't going to feel special this year and that's not a good feeling. Maybe I'll "splurge" and get him some new jammies....

| We don't have a lot of money either. This is why me and my husband do Christmas in July. We just buy a gift for each other then so we can make sure the kids have enough for Christmas. It's becoming a fun little tradition for us.
