| When it's all said and done this year we will probably end up having spent around 400-500 worth of goodies for the kiddo. Thankfully she is an only child! (Now granted, $150 of that alone is what the trampoline she is getting from 'Santa.')That does seem to be about the average price range for her for Christmas though. |

| Yorkie Yakker | We usually don't spend $1000 on everyone that we buy for. But this year, each of our kids are getting Nintendo DS and some other stuff so that was a big chunk of money. And we still have to buy for quite a few more people. I would say normally we spend around $200 on each child. |

| Wow I'm amazed at the amount of money being spent on Xmas gifts - makes me feel like Scrooge because I've never spent more than $75.00 on each of my kids when they were young, now that they are adults I've upped that amount to $100.00 each, and same amount for their respective spouses. G-kids each get $75.00. Everybody seems happy enough and enjoy what they get. I used to tell them to make their wish list according to the number of gifts they would like to receive (1 big one or lots of little ones) and they still do it today.

| I love buying used games and I am so thankful that my daughter understands the concept that they are still just as good. She actually told us that she wanted gameboy and Wii games for Christmas but to "be sure and go to the store we always go to (the used game store) and get those because they don't cost as much and we can get more." |

| I spend around 300.00 on each kid,I have 3. I bought my 10 yr old a x-box 360 that came with 4 games(black Friday sale) for 299.00. I feel awful that`he will only have 1 gift! It's what he wanted and he doesnt play with toys. I'm going to get him a few more things,,just to make me feel better!!

| You know, what I always thought was difficult was making sure each kid had the same number of gifts. That matters a little more when they are smaller. It's hard though unless you're giving them both the same thing. I would end up making a list of everything I'd bought for each and making sure they were equal. Now that they are older, they just have to realize that something they wanted was more expensive than the other kid's gifts and that the other one got more things.

| No Longer a Member | That was a great video. It really makes you think. When we donate every year, I always make sure that Caitlin is a part of it. I want her to learn to help others. I just spent over $800.00 to pay for my twin sister's bills. She is struggling really bad this year. I will also have to pay for her 2 children to have a Christmas which will be another $200.00. My daughter is learning that family is more important then getting new stuff. She still wants more stuff but we can't do it this year. Family comes first!!!!! |

| Donating YT Addict | That video is awesome and has a wonderful message. If we all did that, imagine what this world would be like we live in. We're all spoiled to some extent. I think that's going to be my goal this year! thanks for showing

| I spent about 1000 on my youngest daughter, because she's in college, and needed a computer.
